Pros: Amazing lake view from balcony family room. And location close to bus drop off. Cons: balcony doors were faulty, no wine glasses or ice, shower over bath not ideal as all the water splashes out throughout the bathroom and toilet making it very wet.

The hotel is dated and poorly maintained, although I stayed in the newer wing, Shui Sha Lian. The lake view at the balcony was stunning, that was the only highlight. The room looks old and worn out with sticky floor, and the basin leaked, leaving the toilet floor constantly wet. The bathtub design was impractical and unsafe, you have to climb over a high partition with no proper standing area, which feels risky. The marble floor and walls make the area even more slippery. The towels had stains and an unpleasant smell. The table top near the built-in water dispenser area had a foul smell, and I didn’t dare use it, especially since it’s unclear when the filter was last replaced. Breakfast was disappointing with very limited choices, served cold, and repeated daily. Staff at the reception and restaurant looked consistently unfriendly, and the overall service was lacklustre. I would not recommend this hotel.

The view in our room was fantastic, we will be back here again.

Best seat in the house! Clean hotel, friendly and helpful reception, tastefully decorated with great food options. Centrally located with access to bus, boat and bike rentals. Above all else the non obstructed view of the lake! Highly recommend!

Hotel is right next to Shuishe pier which is near the bus station. The room is clean with a balcony facing the pier. There is a warning about certain insects to look out for in the room so we didn't check out the view at night. The shops around close early so get your dinner early. Breakfast is included and taste average. Avoid pasta at all cost

excellent hotel to stay in around sun moon lake nantou.. the location is very nice near restaurants and souveniers.. when you want to ride in a boat its just steps away from the harbor.. the food is good they have foods for kids..

The place in general pricey. The hotel is good. Small room. Bathroom with no separation for shower. Parking 200$ and cash! Delicious breakfast with a view. The location is just in front of the wharf, although Google maps sent us to weird location

I booked Lake View Quad 1 Room 2 Nights. Inside the room two large double beds were placed side by side on one side of the room, leaving a small passage to place your luggages and to move within the room. The two beds were sufficient for 4 pax. But the beds were so close, there was no walking space between them. One can only get out of the bed via the foot of the bed. This is not ideal for senior people who may need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. So if you are travelling with seniors, take the twin / double room instead. The savings is not worth it. Plus the room has really limited space for 4 adults to be moving around. The plus point for this hotel is that it has an amazing view of the lake and there are many shops along the street. Do note that the walls are thin, you can hear your neighbours next door, especially if they sat at the balcony. There was no shower curtain so the whole toilet was wet after our shower. We didn't use the tub as it was not easy for the seniors to sit inside. No amenities except Shampoo and Body Soap.

Had a great stay. Lake view is beautiful. Room with 2 double bed makes less walking space but stayed for 1 night so no luggage. Read review on slippery toilet floor but they do provide floor mat and a fixed handle, still have to be careful as their water is strong that is why whole toilet will be wet after shower. Room table has a filtered water on table top so is convenient to take water but took up some space. Review wrote about insects, yes but as long as we do not open the sliding door at night then is fine cause it has netting on the outside door. Staffs are helpful too, when i enquire about the tickets they did explain on where to go and is cheaper to purchase from the hotel. Hotel near the wharf and bus station so is a good location.

We got such a amazing view in our room , must visit again ! Dinner here must try traditional hot pot!

Although room with bath tub but not really clean, also very deep in. Hotel is facing Sun Moon lake which u can buy lake cruise ticket onsite.
