Hampton Inn & Suites Boise/Nampa at the Idaho Center

Mostly nice but the water had the worst smell and taste of any water i've experienced in hotels in the 50 states + DC. Stay away. At the time, I reported it to the hotel and didn't even get a reply. Only today when i filled out the after-visit survey form did i get a response.

The check in was quick. We are Diamond members but were offered first floor. I mentioned my Diamond status. I was told I couldn't be upgraded (I didn't ask for that) but that they could give me a room on the 3rd floor (there are 4 floors) because for upgrades they only had rooms with one bed and we were a family of 3. I was provided a choice of snack for my status after I mentioned it and got 2 bags of candy. We had a view of the lower roof. Nothing scenic. The room was nice. No bathtub if you prefer baths instead of showers or have small kids. I always request extra towels but because the room had just been assigned to us they only had 4 towels in the room. But they do offer cleaning service everyday, which was a plus. We had our room cleaned one day. They missed garbage (newspapers/bottles) that were under the bathroom counter, but it was nice to have the garbage dumped and extra towels. We tried to check out the pool on our first night but our card wouldn't work. We were told the card reader stops working at 7 pm. We decided not to go to the pool that night but to go another night because we were there 3 nights. The 2nd day we went to the water park so decided to go our last night. On the last night we headed to the pool at 6 pm to find a note on the door that the pool was being resurfaced. We checked with the front desk and were told it would be closed all night. It would have been nice to have had a sign at the front desk or be told at check-in that the pool would be closed (assuming this was scheduled) as my kiddo was bummed we never go to use the pool. We ended up walking across the street to Wal-Mart just to find something to do. Breakfast was OK. I try not to eat gluten or dairy. No non-dairy creamer or milk. No gluten free bread options. I did find hard boiled eggs and other egg options. Different sausages each day. Potatoes. Cereals and waffles were available to my kiddo but no options for me. They also had oatmeal. Coffee is always available in the lobby. No issue in finding parking but no nearby events. There are several nearby restaurants walking/driving distance. We'd stay here again.

The beds were great after a long drive. The hotel is in a great spot for walking over to the Ford Center or the Horse Arena. Also had a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The front desk lady was on her first day but was able to handle all of our questions. Breakfast was good, but I never saw anyone attending to the breakfast area. We used golf carts to travel back and forth to the Ford Center and had them parked outside the hotel all night; no one missed them.

CHECK IN: The check-in was easy and the front desk staff were so nice and we were able to get to our room in no time. ROOM: We had a king room. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. There was a side chair that you could use at the desk and a 2 person love seat. The room was very clean and looked well attended to. BATHROOM: The bathroom had everything that we needed to be able to get ready for our day. Towels were plentiful and there was room on the counter to be able to place all of your toiletries. There was a night light which was a nice touch to be able to see in the middle of the night without waking your partner. AMENITIES: Coffee pot in room and coffee tasted good. Small size refrigerator but no microwave. Breakfast was standard fare; bacon, eggs, waffles, cereal, juices, fruit, breads, bagels. LOCATION: Right near the Idaho Center and a Dutch Bros coffee close by was conveniently located

Brianna was super helpful. She helped straighten out receipt issues and she gave me extra cookies. After checking in, she texted to make sure everything was good with the room. She went above and beyond to make the stay special.

Love this hotel! The location is great, close to the freeway and lots of places to eat. The hot tub and pool are always enjoyable. There are tables outside to sit and enjoy the evening. And of course the soft, comfortable Hampton Inn beds are the best!

This place does never disappoint! Always quick check in, great breakfast, friendly staff. Room service daily. Ample lighted parking. Close to Idaho Horse park. Very comfy beds and bathroom. Extra power ports are very helpful!

I come to the Boise area every month and always stay here in Nampa. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful and the property is clean and welcoming. Rooms are well-maintained and quiet as well.

Two weeks prior to arrival, I asked for meeting space for members of a non-profit & was given a choice of 2 areas. Then hours before the meeting the saleswoman cancelled us, said we needed to rent meeting space, accused my colleague of swearing (untrue) then hung up on me! When the manager called me & rudely & repeatedly talked over me when I tried to explain what happened, I stated my next call would be to Hilton corporate. Her response; "Go ahead, they'll believe me over you." This motel falls FAR below Hilton standards & I strongly recommend another choice.
