Rooms - Excellent, very clean and has lovely interiors with confortable beds and sitting area outside Bathroom - Very clean and Neat Location - excellent overlooking the forest Service - excellent, very helpful and prompt Ammenities - Good. Swimming pool is nice Food - Very good ( ala Carte, except for Breakfast) Suggestion - It would be good to have a buffet meal for Lunch ( optional) and dinner included as part of package. ordering ala carte for a group or even a couple is not ideal. Overall a very nice place to relax and enjoy nature, surely will be back

It's a great place to stay when you want to be near to nature and wildlife and relax. A great option to get away from city hustle bustle. The staff is extremely helpful and the services are good. They have intresting in-house activities also which you can join for sure! Gautham Karthik and other staff helped a lot during our stay. Thank you!

Machaan wilderness lodge is the Gem of Nagarhole. When you arrived you are received by passionate people like Mr Shreyas and Mr Peter who share their passion for nature, environment, Bird and wildlife sighting. We stayed 2 days and it need more to feel the opulence nature vibration around you. This is a must go, go to safari, take it easy, and feel you reached the end of the mad world to enter the beginning of the second largest eco system diversity in the world after the amazon. Thanks all staff and nature lover for this incredible experience . PS : this is coming from the heart not from a AI generated rhetoric.

One of the best vacations I have had so far. We (myself, wife and 2 kids) visited during the end of the March 2025. Everyone of us enjoyed the stay so much. Location and access to the safari: Great location right next to the nagarhole tiger reserve. Machaan has dedicated slots in the Nagarhole safari. So, booking for the safari was easy. Setup in the midst of the lush green forest and coffee plantations, the scenery throughout the property is breathtaking. Facilities: All the facilities that you will ever require is available in the room. The room was big, comfortable, cozy and clean. The jacuzzi was enjoyed by kids a lot. Myself and my wife enjoyed wonderful massages in the spa. The staff were all so kind and so mindful of our needs that they correctly suggested to us to convert the sofa in our room to a bed since the main bed might not fit 4 of us. Food: This is the first time I really enjoyed resort food. Typically the resort foods are just average and lack authenticity. But the food at Machaan (even though limited for us as vegetarians) was some of the most authentic foods that I have ever had and I am not even exaggerating. The vegetables tasted so fresh and the taste of each item was just perfect without resorting to too much of oil and salt. Nature walk and Bird watching: This is probably the best part of the Machaan stay. Mr. Peter (for bird watching) and Mr.Shreyas (for Nature walk) were simply amazing with their love for the nature and took great pleasure in educating us about every bird, animal, tree and plant. We were so enthralled by their passion in explaining the nature that we didn't even care about the minor inconveniences of mosquitoes during the walk. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort for anyone wishing to go to nagarhole tiger reserve and who love to listen to naturalists passionately talk about flora and fauna of the area. PS: One request/suggestion (which I had shared with Mr.Shreyas as well) was to place a telescope which would help the guests to watch the celestial bodies in the beautiful night sky.

Truly, the Machaan is a hidden gem for every visitor who loves nature. The environment is very relaxing and peaceful. It is a wonderful getaway from work. The staff really took care of us from the delicious food that is accommodated based on preference and the transportation for the whole trip and company on safaris, hiking trips, and bird watching walks. I really want to thank and commend the AMAZING Gowtham for his company and his knowledge in nature. He has truly made our experience one of a kind. I also want to thank Panish, Shreyes, all the restaurant staff, the cleaning staff, and everyone I missed for their lovely welcome.

They don’t have any activity in the resort and it’s overpriced. The swimming pool was so small where only kids can play, will not suggest this place for outing! Food options were lesser , basic items were missing such as Idli and Vada and live dosa.
