Me and my son accommodated at Heron hotel from 17 march until 21 march. Our room convenient, clean and neat with excellent air conditioning, which made sleeping very comfortable. Hotel facilities were great and lobby's decoration looked stylish and african. Only little problem was shower, which didn't work properly. Hotel staff was polite and helpful, but sometimes especially in restaurant service was quite slow and seemed little unprofessional. One morning we went 6 am for breakfast, but coffee and some foods were not ready. We also asked for omelets twice, but never got them. One evening I took food from menu, starter and maincourse and I got my maincourse first. We ate every evening at hotel's restaurant and always there was lack of some portions. At breakfast we were wondering, why there wasn't any cheese or cold cuts for on the bread. We needed taxi every day to move in Nairobi. At first couple days we let reception to order a taxi, which were quite expensive. 40 dollars to national museum and back. Then we dicided to use uber, which was much cheaper. After all we enjoyed our time in hotel heron and these little notifications are not complains, but to improve service.
