Excel Hotels & Resorts Mall Road Nainital

I booked 2 rooms directly at this hotel for 2 nights at ₹3,000 per night per room. My family paid the full amount at the time of check-in. However, after staying for 1 night, the staff suddenly claimed that the payment was only for 1 night and demanded more money. When we explained that we had booked for 2 nights, the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. Their behavior towards customers was very bad and unacceptable. This feels like a scam, and I noticed other reviews also mentioning similar issues at this property. Such practices spoil the trust of customers and create a very negative experience, especially for families. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. There are far better options where you’ll be treated with honesty and respect.
