Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel itself is a perfect blend of elegance and comfort, offering breathtaking views of the mountains that create a serene and peaceful atmosphere. We were even lucky enough to spot a deer, adding to the charm of the location. The food was simply outstanding—every meal was freshly prepared and bursting with flavor, thanks to the incredible skills of Chef. It was a true culinary delight, offering great value for money. A special mention to the helping staff who took exceptional care of us, ensuring all our needs were met with sincerity and dedication. The hotel's two adorable dogs added a homely touch, making our stay even more special. If you’re looking for a place with top-notch hospitality, stunning views, and mouthwatering food, this hotel is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Good property with a very friendly staff. We liked the food quality and the way the staff make you feel special. From hospitality stand point this place is a must visit. I came here for the second time just because of these things. I would recommend people to try this place once and experience the hospitality by the staff.

I truly enjoyed my stay here, enveloped in peace and sounds of nature. If you are looking for a place to relax, this is a portal to natural calmness. This property is 144 years old, built during the British Era which showcases unique and historic multifariousness, and is beautifully preserved. The food was finger- liking good from authentic kumaoni thalis to hot soup in the chilly weather, all was simply delectable. Various plants engulf the area which adds to the list! One of the places that make me wanna go back to Bara Bungalow (The Cottage), Jeolikote

We stayed in Rosastays, Jeolikote for 2N in Oct 2024 in one of the deluxe rooms, with excellent view of the mountains. This is an old heritage house (more than 100 years) with beautiful Kumauni woodworks all around in the door and window frames. Very clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. The place is very calm and peaceful with beautiful nature all around. A small flower garden is there in the property which attracts a lot of colourful butterflies. In fact, we spend one whole morning leisurely just by watching and photographing butterflies. And the morning starts with chirping of a varieties of birds. It's really beautiful. The food included very tasty local cuisines, cooked specially by Lalit. Also, Vinod ***** with Rosan and Kamal Singh Jeena took really good care of us. Specially, Vinod is always there to help us. The place is so peaceful, I think, it is better to stay here for visiting Nainital which is always very crowded and busy. We stayed in Room 103 - the best among the 6 rooms they have. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jeolifote.

This is our 5th visit to the Cottage… never fails to cheer us up & make us happy. Everything about the place is beautiful… rooms, staff & the food. We just love the doggies and have so much fun with them, it is just pure happiness. Vinod is on hand to suggest good Pahari meals & delightful chai with pakoras.. yummy!! The wonderful views & birds in this paradise, never fail to fly past & show us their colourful grace. Always a pleasure to return … thanks to the management & staff ️
