Howard Johnson by Wyndham Mystic

I had one of the worst hotel experiences at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Mystic. I had reserved and prepaid for two nights, but from the moment I entered the room I noticed serious problems. The room had a very strong and unpleasant odor that made it uncomfortable to stay inside. In addition, the air conditioning unit was running constantly but was not cooling the room at all. This made the room hot and stuffy, especially considering that the AC had been on since my arrival without making any difference. I immediately went to the front desk and politely asked for a room change. Unfortunately, the clerk on duty refused my request. Instead of offering a solution, he went to check the room and simply stated that the AC was working because the unit was turned on, completely ignoring my explanation that it was not cooling. Even after insisting, he still denied me a room change. Because of this, I was left with no option but to leave the property—even though I had already paid for two nights. I ended up booking a room at the Best Western nearby, which was a real hotel with proper service and functioning amenities. The difference was like night and day. This was not only a waste of money, but also caused a lot of stress and inconvenience during my trip. I expected at least basic hospitality and working facilities from a Wyndham property, but Howard Johnson Mystic failed completely. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Poor customer service, bad conditions, and no willingness to resolve guest problems. If you value your comfort, avoid this location.

Tried to check in early, told to come back. Came back, told to come back a second and third time. Finally got checked in around 5. No cleaning staff had shown up. Windows on rooms were open, bedding thrown everywhere. Sarcastic lying gentleman at desk most of the day. Room was a 2. Sliding door lock broken. Bad experience.

I dont know how this place gets positive reviews I found it dirty,smelly and in disarray after leaving the check in area went to the entrance to the part of building room was opened the door turned around and checked right out.
