Somewhat small but EVERYTHING else was 100% perfect from check in to check out. Great staff, accommodations LOCATION. This rating should not have, to have min of characters; blab, blab, blab, blab, x ;amc ;ammc km slc, l,c ll

Told we would have 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Had 1.5 baths. Told our condo would sleep 8, it won’t even sleep 6, Tried talking with the asst. manager, Rachel, she wasn’t willing to help in any way!

Honestly it’s a good place to stay for a cheap price. It’s right on a mix of a private beach and a public beach. Pool and hot tub is amazing and with its beds too. I love how it sometimes has ice cream, hot dogs, bingo available with its guests. I’m staying there for a full week and it’s really worth it’s stay. If the pool area is not enough for you, here’s a tip, the hotel next door has a lot of things to do and me and my family sneak next door to there. SHHHH! Overall amazing stay and would recommend.

We stayed here for only 2 nights, thankfully. The bed and pillows were the most uncomfortable I have ever had the misery of sleeping on. I got up the 2nd night and moved to the couch, which was just as bad. The ceilings are metal, similar to a portable garage. The location is the only positive about this joint. Have no idea how anyone could give this place a 4 or 5, or even a 3.

Must give a compliment to Nathan, Customer Service front desk - very kind and polite. We booked a 2 bedroom unit to sleep 8 with bath and a half, and was put in a unit that sleeps 6 with 1 bathroom. Quite shocked when we entered the unit through the door to find ourselves stepping into the bedroom, then the kitchenette, then the living room. Main bedroom was off to the right. Very small unit. Balcony view of the beach was very nice. Killed a huge roach right off the bat on the floor. Very few amenities - not provided: paper towels, beach/pool towels, trash pick-up service, housekeeping. Can only do towel exchange 2 days a week. We invited family to stay the week with us before we knew how small and ill arranged the unit was. They could only stay a couple of nights, and if it had been longer we would have had to find other accommodations for them. Not for families and children.

Beware of this hotel: 1 bathroom in 2 bedroom unit with a capacity of 6 people no closet for 2nd bedroom, it is in the living room no hairdryers in bathroom, they must be signed out (if available) only positive is it is approaching clean if you don't mind finding a roach in the bathroom will not return to this place EVER

I had a one bedroom which made the bed adjacent to the breezeway and despite it being off season other guests were loud and waking me up at 6am. The mattress was comfortable but it’s on some kind of wood that makes the bed creaky with every movement. There’s no safe in the room. The only water amenities they have are a small outdoor pool and tiny outdoor hot tub which were closed due to the fence being damaged by a hurricane, a man from the resort called me prior to the check-in date to confirm my reservation, and when I asked about the water amenities, he told me I could use the water amenities up the road at another resort called Ocean Forest Colony which I was told by another guy rudely upon check-in that wasn’t true and that pool was closed anyway. Several times my keycard had to be reactivated during my week stay which is annoying and inconvenient. I wish all hotels would get keypads and do away with keycards!

My wife & I have enjoyed many vacations with AFVC. Although this facility was somewhat awkward in design and in a great location, its management required us to visit the 1st stage of a time-share sales pitch to obtain our room key which led to another stage (high pressure sales pitch). I did not buy and why should I? AFVC is such a bargain, I do not need to spend over-the-top money for a vacation. I recommend that AFVC prohibit any form of time-share sales pitch.

My issue with this resort is I don't want to have to be sent to another area to pick up my room keys to be addressed with timeshare meeting updates. I just want my room key without going thru this everytime you go on vaycay. Room was ok, maintenance needs addressed on these units. Could not use hot tub for what ever reason. Looks like storm damage affected the lower level. These were gutted. 1 bdr was when you enter the room you walk right into the bedroom and there was a large armoire blocking the door. We could not open the door all the way. We were in room 407. Small efficient kitchen. Stove was very dirty. Everything else was great. Great view!
