Well what a little gem of a motel. Far enough off the highway to drown out traffic noise. Reminded me of something out of a sixties movie when I drove up. Great undercover parking right outside the door. Staff were so friendly and when I rang to say I was running late they told me to have a safe trip as it was when all the traffic from the floods were driving through. When I opened the door I was met by a quaint room that was clean, fresh and welcoming. The jeweled box with the coffee and tea was a special touch and so was the coffee pod machine. The shower was to die for after driving for 8 hours in heavy traffic. Then there was the bed....wow... I collapsed on it and immediately fell asleep. I wanted to take it and the pillow home with me. I highly recommend this darling little place. I had the Paris room and loved all the pictures hanging around. I only had one little fault and that was being a little bit disabled I found it hard to get up off the toilet because of where the toilet rolls were placed so maybe a small bar on the side of the door frame would be great. The lady also put a shower chair in for me which was so wonderful. The shower was so wonderfully hot and it felt like it was massaging you. I will definitely stay again no problems at all. I had such a wonderful stay at Valley View Motel. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and peaceful atmosphere. The location is absolutely beautiful—surrounded by nature with stunning views that truly live up to the name. My room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, the water was hot, and the Wi-Fi was very reliable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, offering helpful tips about the area and making sure I had everything I needed. If you're looking for a quiet, beautiful place with charm, comfort, and top-notch service, Valley View Motel is a hidden gem. Clean, not much highway noise

Booked at late notice, sight unseen. An older motel with the cleanest bathroom I have seen in a while, a shower you can actually get wet in. Did not use room service, but nice touch was a squeegee for guest use cleaning windscreens in the morning, first time I have ever seen this and it is a great idea. Beds were comfortable and air con worked, all you need for an overnighter

Spent the night without power (not entirely within their control I know) so couldn’t shower etc. Combine that with rock hard beds, ancient pillows and poor phone reception and it made for a very unpleasant night. I recommend to keep driving to one of the larger centers - not worth the money spent.
