Here we have a comfortable lakefront cottage just outside of Munising on the shore of Lost Lake. It’s a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, and sleeps up to 6 people. The location is awesome! It’s in the Hiawatha National Forest less than 15 minutes from town and there’s countless lakes, snowmobile and ATV trails, and recreational activities nearby. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Grand Island National Rec Area are both in the general area. The cottage has two levels with 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs accessed via a circular stairway and the main level has a bedroom, 3/4 bath, and a futon couch in the living room. There’s a full kitchen and amazing views ‘over’ the lake. The location was awesome We loved being right on the lake, and had plenty of things to do to keep us entertained. House was clean and had a neat cottage charm to it.

The most amazing thing about this property was being right on the water. Being able to fish off the dock and to have your own beach. It was close to everything we wanted to do in the area. The beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed in the kitchen. The owner was very responsive.

Pretty much as described. Beautiful peaceful, remote lake. House was clean, and well stocked with toilet paper, garbage bags, and dishes which was nice. Would have loved enough sheets and more towels as we were there for a full week with no washer/dryer, but we made do.

Beautiful setting, kids loved being on the lake.
We stayed there for a week if we had any type of problems the owner was very prompt on getting it resolved in a timely manner.I recommend this property to anyone looking to travel with kids.

Lost Lake
What an awesome place and can't wait to come back when there's No Snow! Beds were extremely comfortable and the view was amazing. Host was also incredibly helpful and answered all our questions.

Winter Wonderland
Cottage had everything we needed. We had a lot of new snow that made the stay even better. Nearby great cross country ski trails and snowmobiling. A lot of communication from the property managers.

Third time VRBO visitor
The place was okay. Had problems with the fan and light in living room. but additional lights were brought in for us. Glassware was sparse,
Weather was wonderful. Lost Lake is a beautiful place.
