As a Platinum Elite member I have stayed for weeks on end at various Residence Inns and TownePlace Suites over a period of many years and have never had such a disappointing stay as this. Upon approaching the hotel there was no signage indicating the driveway from the main road to the hotel, and I ended up turning into an adjacent road leading to a business center instead. On checking in, I noted a musty odor, which permeated the entire structure. Our one-bedroom suite did not have a functioning TV in the living area, the remote missing both its batteries and the battery cover. Later, a hotel staff person brought me a new remote but was unable to obtain a picture on the TV. I also noted that the filter on the kitchenette faucet spot was missing, causing the water to splash all over the counter. The carpeting was frayed and dirty. The living room sofa was dirty, with crumbs in the crevices. The shower had three dispensers, one of which was detached from its wall hanging. The lettering on all three dispensers. body wash, shampoo, conditioner, was so faint I was unable to make out which was which. The next morning I found very few tables and an inadequate number of chairs in the breakfast area, with some guests eating while standing. This facility desperately needs extensive remodeling, before which Marriott should remove it from its franchises.
