Service was good. Breakfast was little disappointed but the staff rectified it.

An excellent stay as always. Amazing rooms. Definitely worth the upgrade to the suite. Very high spec and spacious. A trip to Mumbai is not complete without staying at the Shalimar and sampling the famous local dishes in Gulmurg. 5 stars. Well done

Incredible service and quality - I arrived early in the morning and was well received by the staff who checked me in quickly and made sure I was completely comfortable in my room. The hotel staff was very attentive during my stay - they helped arrange cars for me to get around Mumbai and gave several excellent recommendations for shopping/restaurants - and food at Shalimar is great as well! Highly recommend Shalimar - great location, great service and great quality!

We booked ten rooms for a recent tour to Mumbai. Front rooms had street noise and side rooms had disco noise so no getting away from noise here. Breakfast was good and food service. Check in went good and had to over watch everything but finally all worked out. Would try them again and hopefully they make some upgrades. Bakery in house as well as spa.

Room was Good and i stay with my family and food was so delicious 😋 and all staff was so friendly and helpful rooms are so clean and service staff was helping me choice a which food is good i stay at Shalimar hotel and the service was smooth from the time of check in till the time of check out staff takes Cares of the guest whatever help is required he is one call away

During my recent visit to Mumbai in December, we stayed at The Shalimar Hotel. The service was exceptional! Staff were very warm and friendly and quick to respond to our requests. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We ordered room service and were very happy. Breakfast was buffet style - Indian/Continental including made to order omelette, fresh papaya, watermelon and piping hot coffee every morning! Location of the hotel made site-seeing -Queen's Necklace, Gateway of India, Colaba Causeway easy. Boutique shopping was a stone's throw away. I would highly recommend this hotel should you find yourself Mumbai.

Amazing stay at THE SHALIMAR KEMPS CORNER. LOVED THE VIBE OF THE ROOFTOP RESTAURANT, AMAZING BAR ON THE LOBBY LEVEL AND THE BAKERY DOWNSTAIRS ASWELL. OVERALL VERY HAPPY WITH STAY FRIENDLY STAFF GREAT HOTEL FOR FAMILIES TRAVELLING ON STAYCATION.

Terrible experience. The mattress provided by the hotel staff was infested with roaches, which was absolutely unacceptable. The elevator button for the 8th floor was not functioning, forcing us to go to the 9th floor and carry our heavy luggage down the staircase every single time. Despite our struggles, no staff member offered any assistance. Additionally, there were no bathmats in the washroom, and when we asked, the staff suggested using towels as a substitute, which was highly unprofessional. Overall, it was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Surprisingly well-appointed hotel in an interesting area of Mumbai. Rooms are reasonably big while the hotel is in a relatively tiny and inconspicuous building. Some very good touches. Restaurant, small bar, small bakery within the building. One major grouse was - no drinking water dispenser or jugs, only the irritating and environmentally catastrophic small water bottles. All the best hotels are moving to offer dispensers or water in glass bottles. One could imagine a drinking water dispenser in the lobby. That would get the hotel a 5 star rating in my book.
