uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen, das historische Haus hat Flair und unser Zimmer war nett eingerichtet. Auch wenn Essen nach europäischen Standard in Malawi sehr teuer ist, fanden wir die Preise hier überdurchschnittlich. Ein Menü haben wir nicht genommen, sondern immer nur ein Hauptgericht, das war für uns völlig ausreichend. Suppe bzw. Eintopf, Beafstew und Pizza haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Es gibt kontinentales Frühstück, auch das war für uns völlig ok. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf dem parkähnlichen Grundstück kann man gut einen Tag ausruhen und einfach nichts machen :-)

Il lodge di AWT è semplicemente unico: un luogo pregno di un’atmosfera magica, immerso nelle verdissime piantagioni di té interrotte solo dalle strade rosse che contrastano alla perfezione creando un panorama mozzafiato. Lo staff è stato sempre sorridente, disponibile e attento a ogni esigenza, rendendo la nostra permanenza un sogno. Oltre a mangiare benissimo, abbiamo approfittato con piacere della piscina e della bocciofila. Le escursioni sono state sempre divertenti, interessanti e mai noiose. Da tornarci presto!

Staying at AWT was a fantastic experience. The accommodation (rooms, dining, facilities etc) were all excellent and every single staff member was very warm, smiley and very helpful and assisted me with any questions or queries. the food was great also. I had a wonderful experience with my friends and look forward to returning with my family in the coming months. the facilities are also well equipped for children from what I could see. best, David

Africawildtruck lodge è un luogo magico. Ti sembra di essere arrivato in un posto fuori dal tempo. Le camere sono accoglienti dotate di ogni confort, tranquille e immerse in una natura incontaminata. Il rosso della terra ed il verde delle piantagioni di the ti accompagnano nella mente anche quando ritorni a casa. Il ristorante è andato oltre le mie aspettative, colazione abbondante e varia. Stefano è Francesca con il loro staff sono attenti ad ogni esigenza e cordiali.

This place is in a lovely location with amazing views to Mt Mulanje based in a tea estate. The accommodation is clean and authentic. The food is good local style with very good pizzas if you happen to be lucky enough to be here on pizza night. Service is very Malawian friendly and attentive.

We zijn er 1 nacht gebleven omdat we een tocht op de berg gingen maken. Mooi verblijf super vriendelijk personeel. Het eten was er goed en verzorgd. Ze zorgde voor een gids die met ons de berg opging. Het zwembad was helaas kapot. Maar de huisjes zien er mooi uit en alles zit erin voor een leuk verblijf

We went to stay for 2 nights to relax over the Christmas break. The setting is breath taking and the accommodation is very clean and adequate. We found the staff to be extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. As for the food, breakfast is continental and we found it to be plenty. As we live in Malawi we realise how hard it is to get fresh supplies, but we were not disappointed. Dinner in the evenings is a set menu and again the standard of the food is high and the portions are plenty, it is based on a Mediterranean diet so is a welcome change. There are lots of walks and activities available but we chose to just relax. I guess the only disappointment was for our son, as the swimming pool was damaged in the cyclone earlier in the year. They do have plans to construct another one though!

The location is scenic, the staff are friendly and helpful, the bed was big and comfortable. But overall we felt it was a bit over-priced compared to other similar places in Malawi. From the website we were expecting a bit more luxury, particularly for the food. The bathroom was quite basic, breakfast was pretty simple and our pizza dinner was a bit disappointing. However if you want somewhere simple and reliable and don’t mind the cost, it is comfortable, clean and friendly.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay in this beautiful place (planning on atleat 2 nights next time ), the room was spacious with a lounge, bedroom and kitchenette that had a coffee plunger and the most beautiful tin mugs to drink from. breakfast on the grounds with the view of Mount Mulanje was breathtaking. Most importantly Florence ,her warm welcome and checking up on us regarding our pizza dinner was a highlight.
