The Clairfield Hotel

Hotel is newly renovated and looking great. Have stayed previously and always been happy. The new restaurant and facilities are schmick!

We arrived late and when the wife went in to check in I could see there was a problem, they could not find our booking, we had to show them on our phone. Thankfully they found it and got us quickly settled in to our room, they had to give us a family room as the other refurbished ones were full, love the polite reminder that " we don't have to sleep in all the beds" never thought of setting my alarm and getting up and climbing into another bed in the middle of the night, maybe I should give it a go, could be a new game Find The Wife! Beside that the rooms are very nice the beds very comfortable and I can vouch the family room has three beds and is huge. Would love to see a few more plug sockets. Good size fridge helps as the markets were on and we wanted to buy stuff and keep cold so well done on that front. Decor real,lay nice and bright, fresh and clean as. Would suggest the microwave placement should be near the fridge looks lonely on the desk. Continental breakfast was ok, love the high tech toasters! Coffee was nice and strong and I needed it to wake up from last nights dining experience! Thanks for a lovely stay.

I was so impressed with this hotel. The staff were super friendly and nothing was an issue. We had complimentary wine and snacks on arrival along with complimentary water bottles each. Room was very clean and comfortable. Although the hotel is in the middle of a massive renovation, it did not affect our stay at all.

This hotel is a total building site and should not be open. We were told it was having work done so the pool, restaurant weren't available which we thought was fine as we were going to a Wedding however the whole place is a building site. We were only told it was major construction via email at 9am on the day we were due to check in (I didn't check my emails until after I had arrived). It is totally unsafe for guests and hotel staff to operate. Rooms are lovely but they were pouring the parking area when we arrived so the rooms smelt of asphalt.

Cannot recommend this highly enough. Very clean, great bed and great service. Particular mention must go to Kelsie & Jade at reception. Great to be so warmly welcomed with their very friendly smiling faces & go above & beyond to make your stay as good as can be. Will definitely come again. Do yourself a favour & look nowhere else.

Despite the fact that the motel is being renovated the brand new rooms were perfect. We were there as a family group of 14 & the staff were excellent to communicate with throughout all of the arrangements. Highly recommend this motel be considered when looking at options in Mudgee
