"The hotel's ambiance is truly unique and refreshing. Our shower wasn't working in our room, and we ended up having to use the shower in the vacant room next door. Otherwise, we would have had to pack up and switch rooms in the middle of the night. The towels in the room were a bit old and not perfectly white. Everything else was pretty good; the coffee shop and restaurant were excellent. It's also convenient for getting to nearby attractions. Coming back to our room, we even saw a cozy cat on the outdoor AC unit outside our door."

"This venue needs another round of renovations. My last stay in this hotel was after it had been renovated more than ten years ago, and decided to return last week after tried out others nearby. While it is still being promoted as a boutique hotel, its pricing is no longer competitive comparable to those nearby given the smaller size room - my was without a single window as the counter staff asked me to pay extra. Generally the housekeeping of the room I stayed is poor I am not sure I will return to this hotel again next time visiting Muar."

The service was generally good, and information and explanations were provided regarding local attractions, allowing guests to further understand the local character. The facilities were somewhat lackluster, perhaps due to the emphasis on rural living. There's a water dispenser outside, both hot and cold, and service at the counter, where you can order porridge, noodles, and snacks for a fee. Coffee is free, and parking is ample, though it might not be enough for a full house. The restrooms could use some improvement, but overall, it's acceptable."
