Service was very slow, and tables were reserved for families that never showed up. The meals were decent, though not exceptional, except for the Swahili breakfast, which was a highlight. Overall, the hotel is quite beautiful.

We had been anticipating our vacation for over a year, and wad excited as we arrived at Sun N Sand. However, our dreams of a relaxing getaway were quickly shattered. Upon check-in at 4:00 PM, we were informed that our booking had been canceled that morning due to an alleged error in the hotel's booking system at the time of booking a year before. Despite having confirmed our reservation a year in advance and providing all our contact information, the hotel had made no attempt to reach out to us beforehand. This unexpected turn of events left us feeling stranded and overwhelmed. We were forced to scramble to find alternative accommodations on the same day, which proved to be a stressful and time-consuming ordeal. The last-minute arrangements resulted in significant additional expenses for phone calls, transportation, meals to our hungry young children, and an extra night's stay at a nearby hotel. The hotel's lack of concern for our situation was evident in their indifferent and arrogant attitude. The staff we spoke with, seemed more interested in dismissing our concerns than in offering assistance. They refused to acknowledge any responsibility for the cancellation. Beyond the financial burden, this ordeal caused us to lose valuable time and energy that should have been dedicated to enjoying our vacation. We missed out on planned activities and experienced considerable stress and inconvenience. Had they just bothered to contact os, even the same morning, this could have been avoided as we could have made new arrangements on the way. I cannot strongly enough advise against booking a stay at Sun N Sand. Their disregard for their guests' well-being and their complete lack of customer service are unacceptable. We hope that by sharing our experience, we can prevent others from falling victim to their negligence.

My Stay was good. I did enjoy the ambiance. Fatuma the masseuse really did a great job. My only concern was the rooms were made a little bit late and not all amenities were kept in the bathroom I had to call four times for towels to be brought. I also indicated that I was celebrating my birthday in the booking but no one recognized it. I had a pre-paid massage but they made me wait for an hour just to confirm. The potter was an amazing person.

We arrived on Thursday night, Tower side- they were not ready for a group of more than 30 pax. Rooms are well done but furnishing could be better. Some of us had hot water, others had to find the manager to crank up the water. My bathroom was not cleaned- seemed like all they did was put in fresh linen and superficially clear dirt. Bedsheets were old and sewn together- not to be used by anyone especially a hotel where clients pay up front. Meals were subpar and the brightest spark in our stay was Lennox- he answered all our questions and went out of his way to make sure we had our meals and needs catered for. The other waiters didn't really look us in the eye or reserve space for our big group- we made do. Linens on the table? Could do with a change- they were dirty and worn out. The kids loved the pools- it's where they spent most of their day. You have a big big facility- maintain it and it will go a long way and attract more visits otherwise- not coming back.

We were 7 families, 36 people in total for a retreat. *What we liked*: The rooms in the apartment block were spacious, airy and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodated our many requests. Some found that their balcony door was not working, water heater faulty, and the maintenance team responded fairly quickly. Some items didn’t function well. The hotel is right by the beach and we could go out for walks and a swim in the ocean. We made a last minute request from the Head of Admin and he accommodated us. He was flexible and open to hearing us out. A big thank you to Lennox who served us wholeheartedly and David for extending grace. *What we didn’t like*: Rooms could do with a bit more furniture: barstools, a seat in the master, more bins (we didn’t have a bin in our bathroom) The beds in the master bedrooms were quite high. Perhaps a stool to be the vertically challenged During check-in no one helped us to the room or explained how things work, e.g. how to make hot water run, who to call for help etc. The welcome can be improved. Food: during meals and teas items would run out and replenishing was slow. The meals were lacking in culinary excellence and variety. Nevertheless chef McKenzie threw down an awesome brown ugali specifically for us.

The hotel condition,appearance and ambiance looked good but our frustration was that there was no customer care or even guest interaction at all. On arrival when we we're being checked in, the front office attendant just told us to go for tea at the restaurant which we had to find it by ourself after direction given by finger pointing. * no assistance was offered for our language or even a staff to atleast take us to the our apartment. We were given directions and that's all. *During meals time we had to look for tables and sit ourselves nobody bothered. The waiters were standing very far away like soldiers and non body seemed to care or even engage and see if you needed anything. * Your food was just the same from lunch and dinner. No kids consideration at all. My kids were doing only chapati,rice and potatoes,dry food because all your stew were spicy and not for kids. * There were no towels at the pool. We had to beg the pool man until at one point my fellow guest had to go to complain at the reception yet at that time it wasn't busy at all. * The worst was when I did a cake reservation for my wife birthday since this was a birthday vacation for her and laiter to find out that the cake wasn't available and yet it was your recommendation. The lady at the reception doesn't know what is available and missing yet she sell me a missing item. Even after asking them to go ahead with what they had still nothing was delivered........ *We request for an iron box and nothing was delivered at all. There were no phones in the apartment at all even to do a follow-up. Generally for me I cant recommend the place to anyone at this point. * the entire 3 nights and 4 days nobody asked me about my stay or even got a feedback from us. Even the supervisors or managers I saw around until. Its only one lady hostess that I had inquired to about the cake purchase who bothered to ask if I got it..... How can you do service recovery if don't even get guest feedback * Mr. Nelson Vuko Kahindi our room steward was outstanding.

Sun N Sand Beach Resort is truly and ideal budget place for people to visit as it offers one of the best services at an affordable price. The place also has nice rooms that I would recommend to anyone looking to visit the coast region and is on a budget and looking for value for their money

Struttura nei pressi di Mombasa, accoglienza ottima, appartamento enorme andrebbe solo tenuto un po' meglio ma comodissimo con grande salone, 3 camere da letto 4 bagni, terrazza vista resort ed oceano. Ristorante a buffet con piatti locali. 3 piscine di cui una con fiume acqua non proprio pulitissima a causa del vento che trasporta polvere e foglie. Attenzione alle Vespe può capitare di incontrare un alveare ed essere punti. La sera musica al bar anche se pochissima gente in questo periodo. Da rivedere la sala giochi con carambola vecchissima e freccette.
