Advantages; helpful staff at concierge, amazing food at the Parkview - one of the best omelette ever had, walking access to the beach.. (but beware of steep stairs..) and….. house keeping service was first class and friendly. Disadvage; TV could be bigger, NO smart TV, No utube, No neflix … power point was only on one side of the bed. Shampoo/ conditioner/ bodywash is just plain, not suitsble for 5 star hotel. When u purchase the toilettes bag which cost 30$ u get the same stuff inside with tooth brush and paste. We stayed 3 nights and were very impressive with house keeping service. Everytime we come back, towels were replaced, bed was made, refilled stocks etc. thanks house keeping team x the best 🩵

I really liked the property of the venue. I came to the area later in the day because it was raining on the island. Because I was in the midst of a circle around the island, I had already dealt with a rain storm at the folk Village and just needed to eat or clean up. I needed tea and a space to relax. There’s a plaza about five minutes walking from this property, and some of the amenities were closed at Playce when I arrived. I was also told at check-in that it was more like a hostel. The check-in process was fast.  The room space is very small, but the design of the hotel rooms is neat and functional. Unfortunately, there’s no luggage rack, and there are limited hours for the café, laundry, play, and bar restaurant. I had two suitcases, so I used my bed and a MacGyver way to set the carry-on.  I think this place is best suited for remote workers who are minimalists or trekkers/bikers. I still think the concept of Playce is unique. However, I wanted to go see the sunrise on the Ilchulbong hike and there’s no breakfast early in the morning. The coffee shop is not open until later either. The restaurant opens promptly at dinner time. The shop has very nice branded things, but I chose to purchase a couple of basic souvenirs. I felt a sense of hipster basically. Otherwise, the place is great. Price is best.  Although the staff was very friendly and had lots of information, I do not feel that describing the venue as a hostel was appropriate. If I cannot get my tea or coffee when the popular attraction nearby is a 40 minute walk away or a five minute taxi, then I should at least have the option that a hostel does. This means I had to utilize the coffee that I took from the previous hotel in order to make my morning start the best at sunrise.. It was suggested that I go to a restaurant locally across the street by Starbucks at the 4pm check-in since the restaurant was not open until 6 PM. Even if I had my own snacks, the option I had was to use the hot water machine downstairs. Thinking back to a hostel, I did not have the hostel kitchen. The laundry was available if needed though.  What I liked about this Playce despite the fact that it was a rainy day is the feature of the stage in the middle of the property and the fact that they do events locally on a regular basis. I liked the interior decorating and I did like the fact that they had a library/remote workers room. The food at the restaurant was delicious. When I did get to eat breakfast later in the morning after the hike (the hike spot had local shops), it was really good. When the café did eventually open, it was a very nice space. Food service literally saved my opinion late in the morning.  I like the concept of the whole property and feel that it can do better in accommodating the hotel guests, especially when it is a Chinese holiday revolving around an upcoming Korean holiday. Hours of operation are not in sync with travelers, and it is definitely not with hostel amenities. It’s a hotel.  I stayed at this location because of the price and vibe which was quite fine after 6pm. I really enjoyed the hike and the small village near the shore.

On joitakin ravintoloita ja kahviloita lähellä, mutta monet niistä ovat suljettu, joten valinta on hyvin rajallinen. Etuja: Muussa tapauksessa, nautimme oleskelumme hotellissa paljon. Olemme pysyneet päärakennuksessa, ja oli onnekas olla ensimmäisessä kerroksessa suoraan sisäänkäynnin uima-allas. On yksi sisäuima-allas ja kaksi ulkona sekä kuuma tubi. Aamiainen ei ole kovin laaja, mutta se sopi täydellisesti makumme ja me rakasti sitä. Henkilökunta on mukava ja apullinen. Haluaisimme palata tähän hotelliin seuraavalla kerralla.

Booked 3 rooms for 9 pax. Book 3 triple rooms but was giving 2 triple and a double room. Had to go down to reception to change. Rooms were all given 2 sets of amenities each. Reception was a little hesitant to give extra amenities and towels. Overall stay was worth the price. Each room was equipped with a spa bathtub which was really nice. Not much food options around tho. Carpark was big enough.

Stayed here 3 times now. Just a really nice stay in a part of Jungmun that has lots of nightlife to offer. Beds are co.fy, staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. Best of course is the price which can be very low depending on time of year and different deals

Clean hotel, good location in Jeju. Walking distance to Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market. Massage chairs in the lobby is a bonus. Front desk was friendly and helpful.

Low density hotel with nice breakfast and nice outdoor view, good for leisure and small trip nice hidden food around , good place to explore

Oli hieno aika täällä. Henkilöstö oli super riemullinen ja yhteistyöhön. Vain taksi on sijainnin ei ole kovin elävä, mutta suuri vaihtoehto budjettivapaa matkaa. Meillä oli varhain aamulla lento, joten he järjestivät taksin meille, joka oli mukava. Se on noin 1 tuntia Jeju lentoasemalta ja on hyvä paikka, jos haluat rauhallisen loman ja haluat vierailla Odo saarella.

A few things to update from the most recent review: the 7-11 next door is gone/being renovated; you cannot cook inside of your room even though it has a burner, etc. and not all rooms have a washing machine (photos a bit misleading). However, there is a laundry machine available for use, you just need your own detergent. Very friendly and helpful staff. The cook-your-own breakfast was a great deal for us as a family. The roof top is amazing, 360 views of the sea and mountains, truly stunning.

Location is good, direcly next to ocean. Breakfast was very good. The only thing bothering us was the old room. Our room was in the old area, not upgraded yet. You can really see how old is it. Nevertheless, they keep the room clean.
