"The location of this hotel is central, it’s a 5min walk to the community center where they host a show at 8pm, it’s a 5min walk to the main lookout spot for the village. The couple running this hotel is super friendly and informative. They offered complimentary rides to and from the high speed rail station so we didn’t have to take 2 busses to get to the village. One of the owners can even communicate in english. Our room was impeccably clean and, importantly, completely free of any smoke odor. Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting this village."

"Cons: - stained towels and bed linen (I wouldn't care, but this hotel is 4 times more expensive than cheap hostels I usually stay in China, so I expect more) - I found a big spider the size of a hand in my room (but to be honest: I don't blame the owners for that because the spider could just come from the window, so it's not their fault) - the staff doesn't speak English Pros: - It is the cheapest hotel with license to give an accommodation for foreigners in Zhaoxing. - The receptionist came to my room immediately after my call in his free time and killed that spider I was talking about above. He is my hero! :) - Apart of stained towels and bed linen the room was cleaner than other rooms in other hostels I stayed in China. - The hotel has a good location just next to the town's gate. - I have got a bottle of water for free and all toiletries."

"在肇興侗寨住的這家民宿也太驚喜了！ 位置特別好，步行到侗寨核心景區衹要幾分鐘，既能避開主街的熱鬧，又能隨時融入煙火氣。推開窗就是青瓦木樓和遠處的青山，清晨被鳥鳴叫醒，傍晚看炊煙裊裊，完全是想象中侗寨的樣子，老闆一家特別熱情，到的時候還幫我們提行李，還推薦了超好吃的本地餐館，避開了遊客坑，這點真的太加分！房間收拾得乾淨整潔，木質傢俱帶着淡淡的清香，床品舒服得讓人不想起，熱水足、空調給力，細節處能看出用心——桌上擺着本地的茶葉，衞生間裏放着一次性的洗漱用品，連吹風機都是大功率的，住得特別舒心。 晚上在民宿的小院子裏坐着，喝點小茶，聽着遠處傳來的侗族大歌，感覺整個人都慢下來了。下次再來肇興，肯定還住這兒！"

"I loved this place so much that I stayed 5 nights. Yang the owner speaks perfect English. I rang the day before and he was waiting at the train station with my name on a sign. He helped me organise the entrance fee. Mine was free as I'm 73 years old, even though I am a foreigner. I am travelling on my own from New Zealand. The train station pick up was free and very useful. If you take the bus it's a long way from the ticket office and bus stop into the village. Yang then transferred me into his smaller vehicle to go up the little lane to the hotel. The hotel is 5 minutes walk into the village and has a great view of the village.. It is quiet as it's a little bit away from the busy centre. The room was perfect. Everything new and very clean. And no smells. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality bedding. I used the washing machine in the room to wash my clothes. There was tea and coffee provided. Yang took me on a full day trip to see some other local villages that have no tourists. We walked around the villages together. It was fantastic to have an English guide to explain everything. We saw people making rice wine, making indigo dye, building a house using traditional techniques. We saw a fighting buffalo. Yang chatted to the people and explained what they were doing. This was the best time I have had in China. He was a good careful driver. The breakfast was huge! So many dishes, including fruit. Yang was always available to help me with any questions and we had good talks every morning when he helped me plan my activities."

"酒店剛重新裝修好，在景區裏面村頭位置。這幾天天氣也好。房間乾淨整潔，住的舒適。早餐米粉很好吃，雖然品種不多但都是當地食材，新鮮！ 房價包含了接到酒店，也含了下午茶，下午茶很不錯，在陽台和水景打卡池這裏吃非常愜意，吹着風不想走了，可以眺望對面半山腰的堂安梯田，走的晚可以寄存行李在前台，非常方便。有三衹寵物貓很好看，不敢摸"

"Located near the entrance, a quieter part of the village. The young lady and guy mending the guesthouse are very helpful. One of us had some insect bites and the lady not only proactively brought her to the nearby clinic but also paid for the bill. Room is nice and very clean with all the necessary amenities. We’re being provided with a big platter of fruits everyday. Highly recommend"

"The host is very friendly. Any assistance on trips and places to visit just approach the host and she will be able to provide suggestion. The room is clean and I like the warm aircond during the winter hahaha it really keeps me warm. The view from the room is superb. A place to slow down in pace and enjoy the culture and lifestyle. Logistics to the inn is in ease with the host assistance. Thank you for having us."

"講下我真實體驗，在人生低谷時獨自一人來到肇興侗寨，我其實跟大家一樣來之前在小紅書看了很多攻略等等，後來選中了這家比較有實惠環境又好的酒店，老闆娘也非常熱情，當時是個炎熱的中午我一下高鐵站就見到被曬到滿臉通紅的她在車旁邊等這我，坐上車之後我們一路有説有笑，酒店衞生也格外乾淨，酒店到鎮上其實是有小段距離的大概8分鐘，我去哪個景點她都親自開車免費來回接送，難得來一趟這邊當然要租套當地服裝，她給我推薦了一家古風攝影店，報她酒店名那個老闆還給我打了折，真的不得不説老闆娘推薦那個古風攝影店了，我真的超級滿意，真的非常漂亮，我厚重單眼皮第1次被別人化粧化的這麼成功一次，而且還非常便宜，她們把我化的非常漂亮篝火晚會中 主持人在千人之中就注意到了渺小的我，並且送了當地紀念品給我，篝火晚會票也是老闆娘給我買的，她給我也打折了，我的天啊 她比我還要擔心我的荷包🥹，我玩到了晚上10點多，她都親自來到小鎮接我，美貌是她最不值得一提的優點，對客人細心 為客户着想，服務拉到最高 接觸下來她真的是個非常聰明的女人也很有經商頭腦，真的處處為我着想的，票給我打折的，給我推薦的店都是最好的，免費來回接送我，這次體驗真的非常棒，在低谷時候的我 都能被寨子裏的人拉出來，我也會永遠記得這美好時刻，下次也還會來，姐妹們真的信我 可以放心定她家酒店，會讓你體驗感真的拉滿"

"Excellent location. Just a few minutes walk away from main sites. Lots of food nearby. Staff are super helpful, friendly and kind, always offering to share their meals and food whenever they are going to have a meal. Helpful in suggestions on my travel itinerary too. The beds even have heated mattress pads!! So comfortable. They have a few lovely cats at the establishment ."
