the owner is too too too friendly, very good service, location is centre of the Main Street very conveinence. will recommend to friends or family for the next trip 

I loved this place so much that I stayed 5 nights. Yang the owner speaks perfect English. I rang the day before and he was waiting at the train station with my name on a sign. He helped me organise the entrance fee. Mine was free as I'm 73 years old, even though I am a foreigner. I am travelling on my own from New Zealand. The train station pick up was free and very useful. If you take the bus it's a long way from the ticket office and bus stop into the village. Yang then transferred me into his smaller vehicle to go up the little lane to the hotel. The hotel is 5 minutes walk into the village and has a great view of the village.. It is quiet as it's a little bit away from the busy centre. The room was perfect. Everything new and very clean. And no smells. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality bedding. I used the washing machine in the room to wash my clothes. There was tea and coffee provided. Yang took me on a full day trip to see some other local villages that have no tourists. We walked around the villages together. It was fantastic to have an English guide to explain everything. We saw people making rice wine, making indigo dye, building a house using traditional techniques. We saw a fighting buffalo. Yang chatted to the people and explained what they were doing. This was the best time I have had in China. He was a good careful driver. The breakfast was huge! So many dishes, including fruit. Yang was always available to help me with any questions and we had good talks every morning when he helped me plan my activities.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. Its prime location in the Center of the village with a wonderful view on the old houses , and the rooms are impeccably clean. The service is amazing , drinks at the entry, wash clothes, breakfast … everything is really perfect but what truly stood out was the incredible kindness of the staff. They helped organize everything and provided a breakfast box as I was I left too early in the morning. I totally recommend this place and this village has been definitely one of the main highlights of my 20 days trip in china :)

Before arriving, the homestay stafd took the initiative to contact me via Wechat so that they can arrange for transport to bring us from the train station to the hotel. This hotel is located inside Zhaoxing Ancient Village so do purchase the entrance tickets beforehand. The hotel is located towards the end of the village and our room is facing a small paddy field. It is very convenient to move around as it is only 5-10 minutes walk to the bus station if you want to take the shuttle bus to Tang'An Rice Terrace. It is also about 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of the village where you can find food and other necessities. The staff is very considerate- they will message me on wechat to ask what we prefer for breakfast so that they can prepare the noodles and coffee for us by the time we want to go down for breakfast. They can also deliver the breakfast to your room if you prefer. The beds are very comfortable although the pillows can be a bit harder and will be good to have more hooks in the bathroom for guests to hang their towels and clothes before showering. All in all, would highly recommend this homestay. Thank you for the hospitality!

The Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh，and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par la gérante de cette auberge. La chambre était calme et très confortable. Une seule petite réserve, les serviettes de bain étaient en papier, ce qui est moins agréable que les serviettes en tissu. Toutefois, compte tenu du climat humide, il n’est peut-être pas facile de faire sécher les serviettes en tissu. À la fin du séjour, la gérante nous a raccompagnées jusqu’à la gare des bus. Merci encore à elle pour toutes ses attentions.

l'hotel correspondait exactement a mes attentes , un service de qualite , une belle chambre au coeur du village, un lit confortable , et tres propre, avec un equipement ideal, je tiens également a remercier la jeune fille de l'accueil qui a ete une aide precieuse pour mon arriver comme durant mon sejour , une personne souriante et tres sympathique. qui a fait du bon travail . juste un point de detail , j'ai eu un peu froid la nuit sans systeme de chauffage.

A cute, tiny homestay directly in the village, next to the river. If your room is on the river side it might be quite noisy, but they also provide earplugs if it’s too loud. The staff is friendly and greets with tea and snacks. Can recommend staying there

Friendly lady boss. Could arrange for pick up from Cong Jiang station. Quaint village. Nice and easy to walk around. The room floor creaks as it’s a wooden floor. Accommodation provides ear plugs but we didn’t have to use them. Bathroom is a little small but very local and rustic. Have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Accommodation is located in a very central place but away from the noise. Worthwhile stay.

Pleasantly surprised with the hotel Clean room and luxurious bathroom, felt very new. The hotel design is also quite modern The hotel is located off the main busy streetnso its quiet, but if you want the beautiful buildings on mainstreet was just a skip away. Service was good aswell, though you had to call a number as there was no one at the desk permanently.
