Expected a lot more for the price we paid. Dirty towels in room, no coffee or tea, noisy air conditioning which needed a service and no fly screens. Staff were friendly on check in but after that we were completely ignored, a friendly good morning and how is your stay going goes along way! I booked in lunch and a wine tasting which they forgot about. I had to ask for lunch service three times before we even had our order taken, table set and they completely forgot about the wine tasting which I just couldn’t be bothered bringing up again. Lunch was so overpriced we paid $110 for 2 main meals no desert or drinks included in that price, crazy money for a piece of salmon and some asparagus. The whole place needs a tidy up and attention to detail. Overall seems like an unorganised armature business operation. Time to pick up your game Hampton Estate. Also no cellar door as per advertised on the website. I will not be back.

My wife and I got married here in Sept of 2022. It is a fantastic venue where Brooke and her team were very accommodating and willing to go above and beyond for us. The entire team was skilled, friendly and very professional. Our intimate Wedding was basically everything we could have hoped for and are very happy with the outcome. The team took care of almost everything with regards to setting up the decor, leaving us free to enjoy the day before and the morning of the event to focus on other important preparations (hair+makeup etc). The food is excellent, you must try the duck, it is delicious(this is coming from someone who usually does not have duck)! The onsite accommodation itself was wonderful. There is a bit of a steep driveway to get to the room we had, so one must be careful walking there in the dark. The team have little carts which if asked can assist you with it. Inside the rooms, you have a wonderful intimate space with luxuries in the bathroom such as the spa. One minor issue I would like to suggest for improvement is to somehow provide flyscreens on the windows to prevent moths etc from sneaking into the bathroom at night after you open the windows to help ventilate out the steam build up. A big thank you to the entire professional Hampton Estate Wines team for helping us make our Wedding come true that we will remember forever. No doubt we will be back to celebrate an anniversary for another luxurous meal!
