Great hotel

We stayed as part of diamond tours for 4 nights. There were 35 of us in the tour group. I was worried when I saw the recent reviews, but the hotel has a new manager Michael and our stay was awesome. Checking was fast and organized. The staff was friendly and professional. The lady taking care of the breakfast was great. She stayed on top of everything with no waiting for food even with our large group. Our room was clean and fresh. Awesome stay!

Worst hotel experience ever, frankly my dear this management really doesn’t give a damn about you. From the moment of entry, the front desk clerk immediately started telling me that there were no handicap rooms even though I had reserved one well in advance and paid for it. She stated if she gave me a handicap room, it would take it away from someone who really needed it. My husband really needed it! She began dropping the F bomb and got on her cell phone. I was shocked to be treated in such an unprofessional manner!! After finally getting in a room, It was extremely substandard. There was a bathtub which my husband could not get into and a crack across the window with no window coverings that worked they were broken. A bright light shined into the room all night. The barn door to the bathroom did not shut. We immediately checked out the next morning. My husband has now sadly died, and that was the last Christmas we were able to spend time together. He was so frustrated from no sleep that he left and went back home since he couldn’t shower. I asked that the manager contact me and months later she never has even though corporate has sent numerous emails requesting her to call me. She really could care less and if I were you I’d go anywhere but this hotel it’s obvious they really don’t give a damn about anybody if you have a problem especially if you are handicapped. Look up the number of complaints made to the better business bureau with no response!!

BEWARE OF BED BUGS!! My husband woke up with over 50 bites on his legs. He checked the sheets and saw the bed bugs. The manager moved him to another room and never gave him the incident report he requested. I am still trying to get a refund since the manager will not call me back. When I called they either say she isn’t available, don’t answer the phone or hang up on me. Avoid this hotel!!!

Clean and well maintained. My only teeny tiny complaint was there was not an ice machine on the first floor where my room was I had to go up to the second floor. Nice little place for my last minute trip. I was expecting much less and they surprised me.

OKAY stay ... Room: King bed, specified sleep 4 upon assessing the room obviously only sleeps too given the fact it's one bed and a mini couch/chair looking object! Then we were told this is expedia's fault they worded it incorrectly. Later to find out that it's not expedience fault it's actually the hotels fault they literally taken information from the hotel which is provided for that hotel and upload it into this service that fills rooms on their behalf. At breakfast We saw multiple individuals with like 6 + kids stocking up on food multiple trips back to their room then having a meal and then there wasn't enough food for us individuals that just have a meal and leave. I would strongly advise accountability for how many individuals are staying in each room. Whether it's children or adults. Additionally, I would monitor your cameras because they're literally was individuals letting other individuals that were not members of our hotel in to eat breakfast!! This is absolutely unexcusable! MOST concerning is that the breakfast attendant not assigned on the 3rd only assigned on the 4th to 5th permitted this to occur when it was brought to her attention! And advise us other people that when the food runs out it runs out!!! An additionally said the word privileged!!!!!??? DONE?! Front desk staff was not approachable regarding moving rooms certain regarding freezer for food being available to paint guests....

We have been visiting our son and family for 10 years and staying at this hotel 2-3 times a year… we are no longer doing so. 1) we were unable to park our car due to trucks carrying machinery, moving trucks, and 18 wheelers taking up 35-40 spaces forcing us to park in an unlit road. When asking the staff why this was allowed, we got a lot of blank stares, and were told they shouldn’t park there but…. 2) we walked to our first floor room and were greeted with a damp, musty smell… this is after having turned the air on 6 hours earlier when we first checked in. 3) The bed was not really made well, so my wife pulled the sheets back and found a bunch of hair on the sheets. This is in addition to coffee (we think) having been spilled on the floor and nobody really mopped it up… at this point I called the front desk, asked if they had done anything to allow us to park in the parking lot. I was greeted with an attitude, which was fine because we told them we were checking out …. So at 12 midnight we went to the courtyard by Marriott and parked our car, had a comfortable bedroom and clean sheets… We have noticed a decline over the last few years but this adventure will end our stay at this Hotel. Never Again.

In town for a baseball tournament and had rooms blocked off for us, supposedly. After 20 minutes of searching her computer she found us. Room was very moldy smelling. We had to run very cold air constantly to keep smell from being too strong! For 2 hours at the pool we tried to get towels and last time we asked they said we couldn’t have any because people were taking them to the beach. So, I used a room towel, which there were only 2 to start with. A family in our group was locked out of their room for 4 hours! Were told lock needed replaced and had to wait on someone.

Good breakfast menu, because I had a late check in I got the last parking spot, I think they need to figure a way to have additional parking.
