We rented a cabana from Hidden Haven on February 27th for one night on May 11th. David Green asked that we pay his friend through PayPal "but send it to friend so we don't get charged extra." we paid a 50% deposit on Feb 28th. I also communicated with him on May 3rd. On May 10th, on the same email string, I sent him "Hi David, we are staying at Hidden Haven Saturday night. We'd like to leave our car at noon while we go to Nohoch Che'en for the afternoon. PLMK if that is okay. " His response was "Sorry di not know who you booked with but we aare closed at the moment sorry." [his typos] I wrote back " No, I paid you through PayPal. Check your records. We have emailed several times." His response was "Sorry, we had a fall-out with BTB, and they have temporarily closed us. They are saying they will fine us bz 10,000 if we take any guests. So sorry. This has just happened." He did refund my money promptly, but he did not act in an ethical manner. I was able to find another hotel room quickly, but he should have notified all upcoming guests immediately, not try to say "I don't know who you booked with."
