The Raven’s Cliff Lodge by Marston's Inns

I recently stayed at the Ravens Cliff Hotel Lodge by Marston's Inns, and found it to be a clean and comfortable choice for accommodation. The rooms were well-maintained, providing a good night's rest in a peaceful setting. One of the perks I noticed was a discount offered in the restaurant for hotel residents, though it's important to mention that this is only available if you book directly through the hotel, which was a bit disappointing. During my dining experiences at the hotel restaurant, I felt that the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. While the service was efficient, a warmer interaction would have greatly enhanced the overall experience. Nonetheless, the food quality was satisfactory. Overall, the Ravens Cliff Hotel Lodge offers a decent stay, especially if you're looking for a straightforward, no-frills accommodation with the convenience of an on-site restaurant. It's a suitable choice for travelers seeking basic comfort and cleanliness.

Let me start by saying how exceptional the staff were , definitely a credit to the hotel!!.. Bobby and Hannah went above and beyond for us.. any parent knows how difficult it can be traveling with little ones .. The staff at ravens cliff were outstanding with their welcoming attitude and attention to detail .. nothing was too big of an ask ... The food was so delicious, fast and hot.. props to the chefs!! House keeping were a delight and always took the time to talk to the kiddos .. The servers always had a smile on their faces and always willing to help.. There was a cute little playground that was well maintained and kept the little ones content for a while with a seating area beside it where you can watch them and you could finish your drinks after dinner.. If we're ever up your way again we would love to stay again.. My only feedback would be maybe a flyer to inform you of the AC settings (housekeeping sorted this really swiftly for us) And maybe a little fridge in the room Thanks again for having us x

Great location for events close by, room is good quality and spacious and clean. Have stayed here a few times now and always consistent. Arrival late a night was not a problem. But don't bother with the pub/restaurant next door - they are unhelpful and unfriendly.
