Hotel Alpina

Très belle prestation hôtelière et culinaire pour notre séjour à l’hôtel Alpina. L’emplacement est très bien à 500 m de l’ESF et à 100 m du télécabine pour Avoriaz. 👍👍👍 La piscine et le spa sont parfaits pour se détendre en fin de journée et tout le personnel est très sympathique.

The staff were very pleasant, but overall the rooms were very tired. Bathrooms are in need of an upgrade and towels had holes in. It was disappointing not to have a bath, I didn’t even think to check when booking. Nice to have the option of a sauna, but the jacuzzi was too cold to use and you had to request the sauna to be turned on, and only between 3.30-7pm, a bit of an odd and annoying system. Breakfast was very basic. Overall I wasn’t very impressed, and wouldn’t recommend.

Heerlijk hotel op perfecte locatie. Dicht bij de lift, loopafstand. Net buiten de de drukte van het centrum. Eten is heerlijk en zeer gevarieerd. Zwembad sauna en jacuzzi zijn goed en schoon. Kamers zijn ruim en personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Kortom een prima ski uitvalsbasis voor port du soleil

Overview of hotel Used the hotel for a week skiing holiday for a family of 3x in Morzine. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and tidy and supplied with a private room safe. There were plenty of wardrobes but no hooks on the walls to hang damp/wet ski wear which would have been extremely handy to dry clothing out at the end of the day. The bath towels and bath mats have seen better days and were rather tatty. The bath towels were very small and more like hand towels. The bath was extremely narrow with no room to bathe properly sitting/lying down without fear of becoming wedged in the bath. There was no shower curtain or screen, either was there a hook to attach the shower head to so you had to stand and shower holding the shower head above you which was awkward. We used the restaurant once for an evening meal and the food was good. Breakfast was basic offering either continental (cold meat, cheese & bread/croissant) or scrambled/boiled egg option. The hotel offered a steam room, jacuzzi and pool. Both the pool and jacuzzi were luke warm so we had to go to the sauna afterwards to warm up.

Friendly small hotel. Very quiet relaxing stay, and very close to all that Morzine has to offer. Hope to go again.

I found one member of staff a bit dictatorial about the use of breakfast tables. She wasn't rude but not far off. Other staff were very good. This one person left a bad taste.
