"Hieno hotelli! Erittäin kaukana, mutta tekee siitä aivan erityisen. 10 minuutin kävely kaunis ja rauhallinen ranta. Henkilöstö oli super ystävällinen. Bungalows hyvin puhdas ja kaunis sisustettu. Lämmin vesi! Ruoka oli mahtava! On paras mitä olemme saaneet Madagaskarin. Erittäin kaunis uima-allas ja mukava ravintola veneen muodossa. Haluaisin ehdottomasti suositella tätä hotellia!"

"I stayed at Palissandre cote d’Ouest for 2 nights as a base to visit the Avenue of Baobap and Kirindy forest. During planning stage reading reviews of this hotel I was a little worried about the place as I read about mosquitoes, complaints about food, cash only destination. I was worried because I could not find another hotel better to stay. When I got there, the place blew my mind away. In that remote Morondava, Palissandre cote d’Ouest is a « luxury » in its own way with 2 swimming pools, cabins with teak wood flooring with large bathroom with A/C. It has a nice gift store with high end products, a bar and 2 separate places to serve meals : one for lunch and breakfast , and one area for dinner. Entering the hotel is like entering an oasis. It is in front of the ocean. The beach was very nice. There is a place that the water was shallow due to a large sand bank. The beach in front of the hotel is a little away from other places thus there is privacy. The staffs are so helpful and friendly. The hotel takes credit card. Mosquitoes were insignificant or almost nil. I would come back in a heart beat to Pallisandre cote d’Ouest for a leisure stay by the sea."

"Decent Room (11) having a double and single bed in it along with a fridge and kettle/tea/coffee - something we didn't get in any other hotels we stayed in during our tour. We were right next to reception and wifi was good in the room, again something we didn't get elsewhere. (There are several routers to pick from so assume this covered the whole area). The rooms are on the complex but not attached to reception area etc. Nice restaurant/bar and pool area, overlooking the beach which was lovely to wander along. We lay by the pool in the afternoon, nice to have a rest. Bar deficient in gin, tequilla and ice despite offering serveral cocktails including these spirits. This seemed to be an issue in Madagascar, they don't replenish stocks when the bottle is empty! Food was OK and staff friendly, speaking adequate English to order items. Overall a pleasant stay."

"Nice place to rest in the busy town of Morondava before flying out to the capital and after the long haul down from Kirindi .Rooms well appointed, decent internet in the hotel lobby and bar area, plus local mobile phone service pretty good. Food great, staff all very helpful and polite. Aircon in the rooms which made a difference after two weeks of no aircon elsewhere."
