Great location good service free airport shuttle

Cannot use pool. Do not stay at this Hilton if you plan on using the pool. They rent it out to British Swim School on Tuesdays 9-12:00 and 4-8:00; Thursdays 4- 8:00; Fridays 4-7:00; and Saturdays 9- 12:00. I spoke to the General Manager and was not offered any compensation.

This is the first time I have stayed at this hotel, and the overall experience was average! The breakfast meal was average and offered a few options ! The staff were friendly during breakfast time! The room was comfortable and clean! They offer housekeeping every other day! Our housekeeping person was not very thorough in cleaning our room on the third day! The shampoo dispenser was not refilled and didn't vacuum the room either! The room is outdated and needs updating. The desk chair needs to be replaced, in bad shape! The hotel is located approximately 20 minutes from the PNC ballpark. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. The hotel offers free parking.

Really really nice hotel. We came for the Pirates/Orioles Saturday afternoon game. Very easy 20 min drive to the ballpark. Front desk was wonderful and very friendly. Able to accommodate my early check in request and answered my questions politely, genuinely and with a smile. Definitely will stay here again for my next Pirates game.

The hotel needs to get new carpeting in the rooms. The carpet was so dirty in the room we were first assigned that we requested another room. The next room was not much better. Then to make matters worse the water pressure in the shower was absolutely horrible. I was in the shower double the time that I am usually in the shower because the pressure was so low. If they are trying to save on water, they failed on that with me. The shower also varied in water temperature. It would be warm and then all of a sudden it was cold and I had to step away from the water flow. This was not the result of the toilet being flushed in my room or an adjacent room; it was random and very uncomfortable. Avoid this hotel and look elsewhere.

We checked in after a long day of moving furniture, boxes, and cleaning. This was for an overnight stay flying out the next morning. The hotel offered a free airport shuttle that can be scheduled to or from the airport. Had it stayed longer there was a basketball court, grills, and pool available. My room was clean and had a separate living room/dining room/kitchen and bedroom. The bed was comfortable and my only minor issues were that the sofa was stained and could have used a replacement, there were no sheets in room for the sleeper sofa, and there was only one plate for the room. None of those were deal breakers but attention to those areas would have warranted a perfect stay. The room was quiet outside of an occasional closing of doors from neighbors. There were free snacks and drinks that we truly appreciated as we were hungry upon arrival. The free hot breakfast was another good feature. The orange and apple juice were a little watery but i truly enjoyed having french toast as an option for our morning. The front desk was nice and very helpful and I would return for a stay in a heartbeat if back in the Pittsburgh area.

The hotel is average overall. The pillows are horrible, have zero support and some of the furniture could use an update. There are two armchairs next to a cozy gas fireplace in the dining area that are filthy. See photos.

I read other reviews that suggested this hotel was not clean and I disregarded them thinking someone was just being nit picky. There is hair all over the shower floors and bathroom floors. The dishwasher has dishes from previous guest in it. Trash piled up in hallways for long periods of time, carpets in need of a vacuum, etc. I thought the check in guy was a bit “short” when talking to me. Fire pit outdoors broken. This is the third homewood suites I’ve stayed at. 2 were excellent, this one is not. I’ve been here about 15 hours and here are pictures so far. Also they will only clean the room on your 5th day there

We have been diamond members for years. We love Hilton properties but in recent years we have noticed a decline in many of the locations. Unfortunately this is one of those properties. We stayed in room #110 which is a king suite with a separate living/kitchen area. As soon as I walked in I was hit with the strong smell of body odor and ****. The carpets were dirty and worn looking. I went to front desk to complain about the smell and while waiting in line the desk clerk was telling another customer that they somehow overbooked the hotel and were at a negative one status- obviously no other rooms available. I told the clerk about the smell and asked for some cleaning spray. He didn’t have any but said he would look for some. We ended up going to Target to buy our own spray. When arrived back the clerk handed me a tiny bottle of Lysol which was almost empty. We sprayed the room but the smell would not go away. The next morning my wife needed to use a hair dryer which they claim in the room description to have available but they was none in the room. I called the front desk but received no answer. I walked to the front desk and found that the clerk was not busy at all so I’m sure why my call wasn’t answered. I told him that the room did not have a hair dryer and that the room still smelled really bad. He came to the room and agreed with me and would relay my complaints to the manager to see what could be done for our trouble. He also said he would track down a hair dryer. After approximately 15 minutes we still had not heard back from him. I again walked to the front desk and asked about the dryer. He perked up saying he couldn’t remember our room number and told me to wait and he would go look. He finally found the dryer. I took it to my wife and it would not work properly- kept cutting off. We are done with this property and getting close to being done with Hilton. They have lowered their standards and not the same Hilton that we had come to love.
