Hotel les Sapins

The most beautiful location for our nieces wedding on January 10th 2025. All the staff made it thr most memorable time for us all . They went out their way for us all very welcoming and friendly. Bed was comfy room was warm we had nice view of lake.

We have just returned from a week’s skiing in the Porte du soleil and stayed at the wonderful Hotel du Lac. We enjoyed it so much we extended by a day. The staff are so helpful and accommodated our rather haphazard organisational skills and the food was really lovely. They have even installed a new massive pizza oven which was a huge hit with our little boy. The cocktail bar was great and my wife loved the Ginger Margarita from Guillame. Kyle, the owner, was so helpful, as was Collette and the free bus from the hotel to the bars and restaurants around Morzine was great on the times we wanted to wander further. Recommend this place for winter and summer

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location, fabulous food, lovely staff and comfortable rooms. Good facilities with helpful staff on local area and great cocktails. Lac du Montriond is stunning, refreshing swim is perfect way to start and end the day.

Great location, with sensational views of the lake. Brilliant for swimming and paddle boarding. Staff were fantastic at running the wedding we attended. Food was delicious, especially the local trout. We went in the summer but I imagine it's just as beautiful if not more in the winter.

The hotel from the outside looks lovely but when you enter what a disappointment. This used to be a lovely traditional hotel but has been modernised badly. Beautiful log burner but hardly ever working and when asked the staff say hotel owner says it's too warm ( this is March and it's snowing outside same as the heating not often switched on the staff walk around with hats and coats on its so cold. The breakfast although supposed to be served until 10 was very often being put away at 9.30 one morning I asked for a bread roll and the reply was ( I couldn't be bothered to bake it ) there is no bar or food during the day apart from weekends ( very poor) the evening meal menu never changes they do have a Sunday roast but it's not the best. The bedroom walls are very thin you can hear your neighbour talking and at night the bar turns the music up. No wardrobes or any place to hang a wet coat. there is a communal hall at the side of the hotel and there were two weddings there that went on till 4 am which according to staff is quite common. The staff are lovely and try their best but they need managing as it's not a playground we were very disappointed and would not stay there again, if we had not paid upfront for it we would of gone elsewhere. Considering the price charged by this hotel you would expect a lot more.

Accueil très froid , chambres minimalistes pas de chaise, pas de tv. On nous demande de parler anglais alors que nous sommes en France, pas d’effort du personnel Sur mail reçu on nous attribue une chambre en étage élevé comme nous le souhaitions au vu des commentaires sur la mauvaise insonorisation. À l’arrivée nous sommes placés dans une chambre au premier niveau. Il nous faudra attendre 2 heures pour que nous obtenions un étage élevé mais pas la chambre initialement prévue sur notre facture Hôtel sans charme, aucun échange avec le personnel même pas un bonjour au petit déjeuner.
