Beautiful hotel in idylic surroundings
This was a beautiful place to stay. The area is very picturesque. The host was the friendliest lady you could ask for. We were given a full tour of the accomodation and shown how things worked. The apartment was perfect for us as a family of 4, it jad a very comfortable kingsize bed and 2 single beds, a bathroom, and an area with a table and 4 chairs and a tv.
The gardens were beautiful with sun loungers. There is a garage that the cars are parked in.
The host helped us to order some food to be delivered to our room and it was very good.
My husband enjoyed some beer that was for sale at the hotel.
The breakfast was very impressive with the best quality ingredients, we thiroughly enjoyed this and must say it is the best we have had on any if our travels over the years. We had fresh eggs, croissants, bread, yoghurt, cheese, fresh fruit salad, jams, honey, tea and local apple juice.
We would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

A worthy detour
Discovered this little gem on the return home on a motorbike trip, didn't fancy a cheap city hotel and discovered for the same cost I could stay here.
Such a good vibe, comfortable and clean with a lovely host and a great breakfast, plus safe parking for my motorbike, well with the detour to get here.

Fantastisk sted
Vi overnattet en natt på vei fra Italia til Calais. Veldig hyggelig vertinne, fantastisk god service. Rent og romslig rom med fint bad. Meget god frokost. Vi angret på at vi ikke kunne bli der lenger. Kommer definitivt tilbake ved neste anledning, og anbefaler det varmt.

Wat een leuke plek om te overnachten. Ik heb daar, zowel op de heen-als terugreis, geslapen. De ontvangst was uitermate vriendelijk. De kamer was heerlijk groot, had een mooie badkamer met een goede douche. Ik verbleef in de kamer op de begane grond en had daarbij openslaande deuren. Bij mooi weer is het mogelijk om daar lekker in de tuin te zitten en te genieten van de rust. In de gemeenschappelijke ruimte/eetkamer kon ik heerlijk een door mijzelf bestelde maaltijd nuttigen. Deze was met behulp van mevrouw Poli besteld en afgeleverd. Mijn Frans is niet al te best, maar met behulp van mevrouw Poli, was dit goed en snel geregeld. Ze had zelfs de haard opgestookt, zodat ik lekker kon opwarmen en eten na een frisse motortocht. Het ontbijt was uitstekend. Allemaal lokale producten die stuk voor stuk heerlijk waren, van croissant tot aan de jam, appelsap en de eieren. Les Clos Poli is echt een aanrader om te verblijven. Het ligt in een rustig dorpje met in de omgeving de stad Troyes en de wijnstreek Chablis. Ik kom zeker terug!!

Een heerlijke Chambre d'hotes. De ontvangst is bijzonder gastvrij en hartelijk. De kamer was fantastisch ingericht en het ontbijt zeer uitgebreid. De eigenaresse vertelt graag over haar chambres d'hotes en over de omgeving. In de tuin zijn diverse zitjes en er is veel privacy. De auto staat onder de overkapping. Bijzonder adres en eentje om te onthouden!

We were a family with a pooch and wanted to experience a French village stay. Couldn’t have done better than booking and thoroughly enjoying the amazing warm and hospitality of Madam Poli. Our pooch had the best time a free roam in the beautiful large garden. We had comfortable stay in two rooms. Breakfast was lovely too with croissant, boiled egg, cheese, jams, honey, fruits and yoghurt. Madam Poli on special request prepared boiled chicken for our pooch that she charged us separately. Two things I missed: shampoo, bins. The restaurant recommended by her had some amazing food too it costed us with starters, mains, drinks costed around 40 Euros per head. Parking in garage was very handy. Thank you Madam Poli for a wonderful stay and start to us exploring South of France future. Sunil Sunita and family

Nous avons fait une halte pour une nuit au Clos Poli. Tout était parfait et Madame Poli nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de bienveillance et de bons conseils. La literie est excellente. La chambre est spacieuse, la salle de douche est parfaite avec un WC indépendant. Le petit déjeuner est au-delà de vos espérances. Parking couvert privé et sécurisé. Franchement, aucun point négatif et une expérience à renouveler. Merci beaucoup Madame Poli.

A delightful place to stay near Troyes. Our arrival was a little difficult as the sonnette at the gate didn't seem to work and I had not previously noted the phone number ( this was shaded out - for our safety it said !!- on Agoda). The owner gave us a very comprehensive tour of the room and how everything worked. That was followed by the breakfast order. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast simply fantastic. The whole place was impeccably clean.
