Really beautiful B&B. The house has so much character and lovely antique furniture. Brekkie was fab too. We are at Checkers on the square in the evening and the food was great, but service was really slow, so if you’re thinking of doing the same, book an early table. Thanks very much for having us!

Booked this beautiful B and B as we were in the area visiting Powis Castle which is only a short drive away. We were in for a real treat, Ruth the owner has the most stunning property with impeccable taste and an eye for detail which is evident throughout. Ruth’s warm welcome makes you feel relaxed and at home as soon as you step inside the door. Homemade Welsh cakes and ample supply of tea, coffee etc were welcome after a long day. The room was furnished beautifully with top quality bedding, towels, robes and toiletries, in fact everything you need for your stay has been thought of. A beautiful sitting room is also available should you wish to watch tv as there isn’t one in the room which was no problem to us. Our room was peaceful and quiet with no noise issues whatsoever. The clock tower situated next door does not chime through the night, Breakfast was a real treat, we had the Welsh breakfast which was cooked to perfection. Thank you Ruth for letting us stay and we look forward to booking with you again in the near future. If I could give you 20 out of 5 stars I would have!

We really enjoyed our stay. Ruth is an exceptional hostess, and made sure that everything was top-notch. The decor is very tastefully done, and looks beautiful. We would love to return some day!

So much room and a gorgeous bathroom with large shower and bathtub. Yummy home cooked biscuits to go with your hot coffee or tea on arrival. Other options for cooked breakfast which was amazing. Loved my avocado and egg on toast.

Wonderful host Ruth and amazing place to stay. Exceptionally clean and comfortable room and awesome bathroom. Breakfast perfectly cooked with fresh orange juice and homemade marmalade. Thank you for making us feel so welcome
