Borgo San Luigi

El hotel tiene unos jardines especatculares y la piscina muy bue tamaño,la comida fue muy buena. lo unico que el mobiliario es un poco viejo.

Waaaaay off the beaten path, nothing around this hotel. Your kind of tied to the hotel snd its restaurant. Rooms need upgrading. Showers were amazing tho. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was a bit to stuffy for us, would have preferred meals to be more down to earth. We found many of the meals had odd pairings. Food and drinks are not cheap!

Beau complexe hôtelier avec un parc magnifique. Toutefois la qualité de la chambre laisse un peu à désirer (fenêtres sales, odeur d’humidité dans laisse chambre, salle de bain exiguëe mal ventilée avec humidité sur les murs et le plafond, avec de l’eau coulant sur le sol depuis la douche). Dommage. Le restaurant est bon. Le petit déjeuner est bon mais pas à la hauteur du standing attendu.

We had a 1 night stay at the hotel during a tour around Tuscany . The hotel has various accommodation options ours was a classic room within the hotel which was roomy and had its own loft bedroom . A warning that there is no lift to the upper floors but helpful staff to assist with baggage etc. the hotel grounds and gardens are huge with the dinning and bar at an Annex building with the pool adjacent which you need to walk to outside from the hotel to the pool which is nice on a lovely evening and if raining there is plenty of brollys available . The pool looked great , the bar well stocked and the barman always at hand . The dining was super especially the steak option . The staff over all were friendly and always available . We did end up with a flat tyre which the staff were there on hand to help change the wheel and then give assistance to find a suitable garage and directions for use to get there only 10 - 15mins away. Was very much appreciated and ended didn’t give much impact to our holiday. Would definitely recommend this hotel and ideal location for visiting the local towns like Sienna .

I know that most of visitors would leave raving reviews, and in most part it has been a good experience. All except for the rooms. Bathrooms are in poor condition, there’s permanent unpleasant smell in bathroom. Cleaners do spotty work, here and there, don’t think ever washing floors. Other than that, breakfast and service in breakfast room were pretty good. I personally won’t go back

The website is accurate, it "should" be relaxing and an amazing getaway, unless 90% of the resort is booked with a large loud wedding. Had we known prior to arriving that our 2 night very expensive stay would be barely able to get service the first night because of the wedding guests that proceeded to party well into the night and we were awake listening to them fighting in the middle of the night after they finally finished taking over the bar, lounge and anywhere else they could be. The following night, the actual wedding day, was listening to the DJ doing announcements and playing loud music while trying to go to sleep around midnight. it was anything BUT what we expected our Tuscan adventure (first time ever to italy and we are in our late 50's) to be. We BARELY slept both nights because of the wedding guests. Wanted to talk to someone when we checked out however all staff were so busy with the wedding guests we had to find someone to tell them we were leaving. Our dinner, the Florentine steak, was also nowhere near what we expected and interestingly enough we saw 2 other tables besides ourselves send it back. Again something we couldn't wait to experience and just not what we thought we would get. We booked this trip almost a year out and it was supposed to be the highlight of our 6 weeks, instead it was just an awful experience. Have never looked so forward to a stay and been so incredibly disappointed. As soon as the staff realized we were not with the "group" we were almost ignored. It was very clear that the bride and her guests was all they were interested in. Came home feeling devastated listening to our friends stay in Tuscany that was exactly what you would have expected. The wedding itself, was absolutely stunning so if you are ever looking for a wedding location would highly recommend as they got fantastic service.

My husband and i got the worst food poisoning from their Barbecue buffet dinner. Within 3 hours of eating it, both of us were explosively sick. When i alerted the front desk she was in denial that it was the food and told us we drank too much. She was so freaking rude and unsympathetic. On the positive side, some of the staff were very nice and the grounds are beautiful. But also, the A/C doesn’t work well in the rooms… but that might have been a result of the fevers we got from the undercooked sausage that made our room feel like a vomit infused sauna.

Hotel idílico en la Toscana. El personal es muy amable y cuidan los detalles para que la estancia sea agradable. Las instalaciones del hotel son una maravilla. Ideal para conocer la Toscana y pasar unos días de relax. El desayuno es muy completo.

L'entrata è magnifica con dei cipressi straordinari! Il Borgo è tenuto molto bene, con dei giardini meravigliosi e una piscina molto scenografica. La nostra stanza era molto ben tenuta con un bagno molto bello. La colazione molto ricca sia della parte dolce che salata, sicuramente può soddisfare tutti. La maggior parte degli ospiti erano stranieri, forse solo noi gli unici italiani. Questo complesso sicuramente si contraddistingue per la pace e la tranquillità, anche se molto facilmente abbiamo raggiunto: Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra. Di sicuro è un posto che ritornerei molto volentieri 💖.
