Appartamenti Alcantara e Damasco

This was a return visit (was here for a few nights in June 2023) This time I stayed 4 weeks! This became my "home base" The host is super king and accomodating. The apartments themselves are stocked complete with everything you'll ever want. I was able to entertain here as well. Plus lots of extras like, COFFEE & TEA, Oil & vinegar, S&P, etc. Saving $$$. The wifi is super strong and the apartment just perfect - spacious 3 rooms, extra pillows, etc. Outside, lounge chairs for sunning, a large walkable estate, plus plenty of picnic areas, and tables/chairs for playing games, reading and of course eating. So I did travel from here, often. Sometimes I went away for 2 nights (Lago di Guarda) 4 nights to Sardenia) but kept this awesome apartment Alcantara, because of ease and my convenience. Everything else in Tuscana and Umbria (vinyards, museums, great restaurants are 10 - 45 minute drive for the most part. The meditteranean or Adriatic is a 2-3 hour drive. Rome is 2 hours away, Florence, just over an hour, Siena is 50 minutes drive. I explored maybe 25 vineyards for wine tastings, took cooking classes and really enjoyed the many small hill towns. Lots of off the beaten path, low touristy places, the real Italy, with amazing local cuisine, and low prices. I've already booked here again for April/May 2024. I can not imagine anyone being disappointed here. It's an amazing clean place in the country surrounded by vineyards.

Posto immerso nel verde, pace e relax sono gli elementi che cercavamo. Posto incantevole, appartamenti spaziosi, pulito e ben ornigazzati, completi di ogni comfort, con spazi all aperto per barbecue, passeggiate immersi nelle vallate e tra i vigneti. Il proprietario è gentilissimo, attento a ogni cura, disponibile e simpatico. Per girare nelle zone Montepulciano, Sinalunga, Pienza, Chianciano, Castiglione… è comodo e vicino. Senza dubbio un punto di riferimento per la zona. Pet friendly ❤️ a presto!
