Wundervolles Ambiente, toller Stützpunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, z.B. Castel del Monte, besonders nette Gastgeberfamilie, großer schöner Pool, sehr freundliches und hilreiches Personal, einfach gesagt ein Urlaubsvolltreffer.

Delightful renovated Masseria, a traditional estate building that originally housed the manager and workers. Large room with curved ceiling, large comfy bed and plenty of space to unpack. The bathroom had everything you need, though it’s a little old-fashioned. The whole ambience is carefully considered and rustic ally charming, rather than super luxury. Staff were great from the warm welcome to the friendly breakfast service. Meals, for residents only, are taken in the Veranda restaurant which does indeed have a lovely veranda, ideal for pre-dinner drinks, but there is also a saloon for chillier nights. The food is delicious, tasty, well-thought out menus. We didn’t bother to go anywhere else! It is in the countryside, so you need a car to explore the many towns within easy reach, no more than 40 minutes drive, - like Barletta, Andria, Trani, Bari, Altamura - and other attractions like Castel del Monte and the site of the Battle of Cannae. It was perfect for some gentle sight-seeing and plenty of relaxation at the end of our trip to Puglia. Don’t miss the tour of the estate and olive oil tasting with Agostino. It gives a good insight into the challenges of being an organic farm.

A MUST if in the area WONDERFUL PLACE with terrific staff. The breakfast was perfect -- made to order fried eggs! They also make very good oil and wine!

Recommendable Lovely and very authentic place. The most beautiful views over olive tree fields. The owner’s son and the rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommendable!

A very relaxing couple of days at this lovely Masseria close to Trani and Castel del Monte. We enjoyed the home grown organic food at breakfast and dinner both days which was adapted to our vegetarian request. The room was very comfortable and the staff were lovely.

Pro: masseria immersa nella Murgia dove disconnettersi da tutto il resto. Olivi, vite, mandorle ne fanno un luogo meraviglioso dal punto di vista naturale. Bellissima la piscina, grande, pulita e con sale al posto del cloro. Personale gentile. Contro: il rapporto qualità-prezzo non l’ho trovato buono, la camera per quanto autentica e originale l’ho trovata spartana e in alcuni punti poco curata (muro scrostato, tenda dell’armadio rotta), per 240€ a notte mi sarei aspettata una cura maggiore. La cena presentava piatti molto semplici sia nelle materie prime che nelle preparazioni (22€ per un secondo piatto fatto da una fetta di polpettone e un’insalatina). Ben venga una cena semplice e contadina ma il prezzo equo sarebbe di 30/35€ a testa non 50€. Consiglio poi di cambiare il cestino del pane che aveva pane duro e vecchio. Un caffè 3 euro, mezzo litro del loro olio a 30€. Prezzi fuori mercato, adatti solo ad un pubblico straniero. Peccato perché è un bellissimo posto da far conoscere anche agli italiani ma credo che la proprietaria dovrebbe decidere se farne un posto di “lusso” adeguando il servizio ai prezzi o farne un posto più semplice e rustico abbassando i prezzi.
