Riu Montego Bay - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Staff were brilliant mainly Americans staying on short breaks very loud at swim up bar and dinning halls. Pools had loads of dead flys, mosquitoes, wasps. Had to move rooms due to bed bugs.

My friend and I had a lovely time at the Riu Mo’bay Hotel in July. The staff were Great except for one who was exceptionally and unacceptably rude, which I stated in my daily feedback. I stay at this hotel last year and returned this year and this particular individual is part of the reason I’ve given 4 point rather than 5. Now as for the food, I have to admit was better than last year and Jamaican food had more choices which I appreciated. Our favourite restaurant was the fine dining fish restaurant, the food was great and staff lovely. The day and night entertainment was both fun and enjoyable, if you haven’t done the Aqua Aerobics, I suggest you do it, I have never laughed so much while working out. The rooms are clean, although I’d recommend changing the water that they mop the floor with and washing out the mops, as although the floor was washed daily in our room it was not clean. On a positive note the staff clearly work hard and I’d like to say an over thank you to them all, especially Jermaine (the manager at the fish restaurant) Red (one of the entertainers), her great spirit is infectious, Kerrianne (who is one of the waitresses at the large restaurant) she always greeted us with a smile and nothing was ever too much. Also the young lady who I cannot remember her name who worked the early shift at the Sports Bar, always smiling and just over genuinely lovely.

I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards I expected from a 5-star hotel. Although the reservation was for three guests, the room was prepared for only two. Despite several requests, we had to contact the reception daily to receive an additional towel. These inconveniences, along with a general lack of attention to detail, made the stay less pleasant than anticipated. I truly hope you will take this feedback into consideration in order to improve the guest experience. A more professional approach would certainly have made a difference, and I believe addressing these issues could help future guests have a much better stay.

First time in Jamaica 🇯🇲 as a couple in our 60s. What a fabulous hotel. Great service from all staff, from reception, bar, waitress/waiters, cleaners and maintenance. What an amazing entertainment team! Food was amazing, drinks fantastic and the friendliness of everyone made it a holiday to remember. Good activities both daytime and evenings. Enjoyed all the shows. Did not join in with daytime activities as we like to relax around the quieter of the 5 pools. Could hear activities organised by the entertainment team which all sounded brilliant. The entertainment team came around throughout the day chatting and remembered names whenever they saw us throughout our stay, daytime and evening. Overall a great hotel and highly recommended.

I went to the Riu Montego Bay for my birthday August 15 There’s a bartender. I can’t remember his name, but I have a photo of him if anyone sees this please add his name in the comments. He is one of the best bartenders. I have ever experience whether you are local internationality treats you the same I witnessed him serving at least 15 persons at once, and never Miss his attitude towards people is the right energy I’ll be back hope he will by at the bar

I had such a wonderful experience at Riu Montego Bay! The food was really good with plenty of options to choose from, and everything was fresh and flavorful. What stood out the most, though, was the staff — they were absolutely amazing! Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The service made the trip extra special. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jamaica and look forward to coming back again!
