Palazzo BelVedere

Located in the cute Tuscany Thermalvillage Montecantini, this hotel has excellent service and a very good kitchen. Super food. The Spa-area seems to be newly renovated and offers a pool, hammam and sauna. Also the treatment I tried was really good. The Palazzo Belvedere's website however market itself with modern and elegant rooms. But the reality is something completely different. I travel a lot for business and pleasure and know that 5***** hotel quality might differ when one comes to Italy. But the disappointment that Palazzo Belvedere brought, was very sad. I thought at first sight, that I had been given one of the staff-rooms. The room was minimalistic, not even space to fit a door to the bathroom, neither to the shower (which was not the rain-shower promissed on their website). The sink in the bathroom was in rusty metal with a dirty rubber ring on top. Looked like a public WC. No shelf in the bathroom to put even a toothbrush, neither any shelf in the wardrobe in the room to place clothes. Futhermore, I had especially requested a quiet located room, but got a room facing the main-road with heavy traffic. Immediately after check-in, I requested to get another room, corresponding to what I had booked and which had also been confirmed to me. The only answer was ; the hotel is newly renovated, fullybooked, and we are sorry you do not like the style/design of your room....

Loverly hotel for a quiet relaxing stay. A car is needed to make the most of the area as quite a distance from both Pisa or Florence airports.

We just got lucky with front office manager Oxana Pereverzeva Super friendly , helpful , we got 2 categories upgrade, welcome drinks , and late check out Also recommendation for yoga brunch. Sure we come back 👍

A distanza di due anni dall’ultima volta, ho nuovamente trascorso alcuni giorni di vacanza a Palazzo Belvedere. È stata un’ulteriore conferma dell’eccellenza di questa struttura. Lo Staff è eccezionale, attento, cortese, disponibile per qualsiasi necessità, ci si sente davvero accolti e coccolati dal primo momento che si entra in hotel. Ordine, eleganza e pulizia sono importanti punti di forza e si riscontrano sia nelle aree comuni che nelle stanze, tutte ampie e confortevoli. I prodotti da bagno messi a disposizione sono di alta qualità, assieme a ciabatte e morbidissimi accappatoi. L’area umida e la SPA sono eccellenti e ben gestite, l’ideale per rilassarsi, ed anche in questo caso è d’obbligo un encomio al personale: professionali, gentilissimi e sempre sorridenti. La colazione e il ristorante meritano anch’essi 5 stelle, prodotti e materie prime di qualità, proposte variegate e staff oltre ogni aspettativa. Un soggiorno qui è davvero un bellissimo regalo da fare a se stessi e alle persone care. Arrivederci a presto

We loved our stay! Wonderful service from the staff. The room given to us was disappointing, it needs upgrading to 2024… and in the room they offer mugs and instant coffee and kettle which brought us back to the 80s.. coffee machine would have been nice..
