The view and the estate looks nice, also the waiters are nice and do a good job. However, the manager turned our stay into a nightmare. Beside the fact that she is unfriendly and verbally agressive, she also tried to rip us off. We have rented the estate for our wedding, which should have been the best day of our life. During the stay, we received multiple unpleasant remarks from the manager, which openly showed her frustration about anything we did. We paid a lot of money and respected all guidelines they had given us. After returning home, we asked for our deposit of EUR 2.000. They refused to return it to us and invested all sorts of damages to keep our deposit. We have asked multiple times for invoices to verify if the claimed damage was realistic but never received them (except for self-made notes that have absolutely no objectivity in it). As a consequence, we never got our deposit back and keep on being treated extremely disrespectfully whenever we ask for proof. In my opinion, it is theft and I feel humiliated and betraid by the management of Liszkay. I would never recommend organizing any sort of event there, unless you want to lose money and be treated in the most disrespectful manner.
