Hotel Liberty Resort

This is a case of you pay for what you get, but for the same price, we stayed in much nicer hotels and guest houses in Tunisia throughout our trip. The positives; the hotel is affordable and in a decent location, within walking distance of the beach, the pool is also great and the food was good. The downsides; The hotel is very outdated and aged, the bedding cushions, bed spreads, napkins and table cloths were all stained and worn (the cotton bed sheets were fine however). Some of our bathroom towels were not washed and cleaned at all, our hand towel still had the previous guests make up wiped on it. The aircon in our room didn't work, so we had to sleep with the balcony sliding doors open, which made for a nosey nights sleep. The reception staff and some of the other staff were professional and friendly, but in the main, the waiters and kitchen staff treated you like they were doing you a favour, some didn't even bother to help when asked - like for a menu or a drink for example. Some of the attitudes I saw towards other guests, was very poor. When we paid for our dinner, our 35 Tunisian Denar meal, suddenly became 45, clearly the rest was going to be pocketed so we refused to pay the extra fee that came out of no where. To be brutally honest, that was the worst customer service we had experienced in a hotel to date. Overall the guests at the hotel we fine but there were some very drunk guests, literally falling over and stumbling everywhere, with one girl was so drunk, she didn't even realize her boob was hanging out of her bikini. We were so happy to get out of there when we checked out.. The worst hotel we had stayed in in Tunisia.

The staff are all great but the entertainment team are the best especially dj Ali and Jambo 🥰 and go above and beyond to ensure you have the best holiday 😎 would recommend staying here Beach is a short walk across the road and food has lots of options even for a veggie 🥗

The staff is professional always smiling and very polite, they are always very attentive, helping you, advising you. The reception is perfect, nothing to say, there were too many different shows kids dance and live music , excellent animation team . the rooms are cleaned regularly, the cleaning ladies are very nice. big hand and special thank for the waiters and the bartenders there who offer us a very good service while enjoying the champions league matches , hookah tea drinks was the best .. The hotel is equipped with everything, shop, hairdresser, spa, exchange office. We had a great holiday . we are coming back as soon as possible ＜3

Nothing to eat on arrival (10 ish) Entertainment is not great to be honest,lights switch off around 10pm NOT GREAT . Food ok but not much variety ,good beer but wine and cocktails not the best. Good swimming pool and beach bar Beach is not private loads of locals going there but not problems at all .

Welcome, the staff member who initially booked us in was rather unwelcoming, however the dealings that we had during the rest of our were good. Room, Good size with ample balcony. Clean but rather tired. Pool, Clean and overseen by lifeguards. No issues whatsoever in respect of securing sunbeds no matter what time of day and service was friendly. Waiters around pool suitably dressed and always available. Reception Area, comfortable seating and air conditioned. Food, slightly more variety would have been preferred, waiters in Restaurant extremely helpful. Shop, the man in shop was extremely helpful and provided excellent guidance in respect of places to visit and transport options. Location, taxi rank situated directly opposite hotel and available throughout the day. Beach, a matter of crossing the road and walking down a lane. Sunbeds were available at no extra charge.
