From start to finish, our experience at Hillgrove Hotel for my daughter's Communion was brilliant. Sharon reassured us that we would get to see the Ulster final on the big screen after the meal, and it was a fantastic touch! We were well looked after by the entire team, and the meal was beautiful. We also booked a family room to stay and the rooms were massive, providing plenty of space for us. The breakfast was to die for! I wouldn’t think twice about hosting our other kids' Communions there. The children's activities were great as well, allowing us adults to relax and enjoy a drink while the kids had fun. Everyone truly enjoyed themselves. Having drinks and food which was not great then served with the bill mid meal. Everyone else in the bar also given the bill while eating which is madness. Then a girl arrives saying cash or card during the meal saying food has finished.. Couldn't order a dessert as was told food finished

We booked our child's communion here and from start to finish the hotel was superb in the planning and organisation of this family event. They provided the kids with an area of play which enabled the parents to have a stress free event. The meal was of the highest standard with a waitress who was patient and kind with the children (which is always a bonus). I would recommend this to family members as it takes the stress out of planning a family event at home.

We celebrated our engagement party with our families last weekend in the Toulouse Suite of the Hotel. Staff (Events/Bar) were excellent- efficient/polite/professional. Service & Food was 10/10 and considering it was a busy bank holiday Sunday and there was other events taking place we were especially impressed. We would highly recommend this venue for an event. Huge thank you to the staff for looking after us so well.

10/10 – Outstanding Experience! I had an amazing stay at this hotel. From the moment I made the booking, the entire interaction with the staff was seamless and first class. They went above and beyond—there were lovely birthday treats waiting in the room and I was able to check in early with no hassle. Nothing was too much trouble. The beds were incredibly comfortable; I genuinely didn’t want to get up! We made the most of all the hotel’s facilities. Dinner in the bistro was absolutely delicious (the beef feather blade was incredible so a big thank you to the waitress for her recommendation) , the spa was stunning, and both the massage and facial were exceptional. The pool area was fantastic, and I especially loved the outdoor hot tub with the bucket-style water shower. The gym was clean, well-equipped, and had more machines than I expected. I’ve already recommended this place to friends and family, and I can’t wait to return. Keep up the excellent work—this hotel truly deserves 10/10!

Excellent welcome and looking after!!! Everyone from the maids to reception and waiters and waitresses were so helpful and efficient!!! Spacious room and bathroom. The food was delicious and gad good portions. The only minus for me was that the room was hot at night, I would have liked a bit of cold air.
