Thinking of coming to Mompiche? Cannot recommend this hostel and little surf / fishing village any higher! Favourite destination on the Ecuadorian coast; even better in the low season due to having beaches + waves to yourself and lower rates. The owners are an amazing young family and so helpful, fully equipped kitchen for use and lots of grass / common area to spread out. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, we spotted toucans and iguanas in the trees from the hammocks. Came for two nights and stayed for a week, perfect spot for us to get away from tourism. Thanks guys, we’ll be back !

Great place to stay! Quite, simple cabanas are perfect for families with great Owners! You will be 2 minutes walking distance from downtown, which is perfect cause you get a little more quiet than other Hostals in the village! Bar, moving night, yoga mats, hamacs everything you need!

Super experience, l'accueil des gerants très sympa et leur petites attentions (s'assurent que nous sommes bien installés, que nous ne manquons de rien,...) le lieu très confortable, et très mignon. Mention speciale pour les caipi au bar de l'etablissement

I had a great stay! The owners are super friendly. The place is cozy, very clean and has a nice kitchen with lots of equipment. I would defenitly recommend going here :) thanks for the nice stay !

Hostel is owned by a really nice family with two little kids. They are very welcoming and it felt like coming home! I stayed during low season for 10 nights and had a “private” dorm room for half of my stay. The kitchen is well equipped and there are three different surf spots on walking distance. Mentally I just wasn’t ready to leave this place!
