Soughton Hall

From the first look round, to the big day, everything about this venue was perfect 🥰 it made a beautiful wedding venue, the food was gorgeous and the staff are the nicest people I’ve ever met (particularly Erin and Cheryl). All our guests commented on how spectacular the venue was. The drive up is breathtaking! The lodge on site made the night before the big day so easy to organise! Do yourself a favour and book, you won’t regret it!

The most amazing wedding venue it was perfect. The staff were excellent so attentive all day and so well trained in their service it was seamless. The staff were all very polite, friendly and very professional. Thank you all so much for making Gemma and Matthew’s day perfect.

Fantastic venue for our daughter’s wedding and the staff were amazing really attentive service. We Loved the fact it was exclusive use for us for the day. Thankyou for looking after us all and even a rainbow came out for the father and daughter dance outside in the evening 😃

As a wedding stylist myself and my team work out of many wedding venues across the North West. I can honestly say that the team at Soughton Hall are without the nicest and most caring bunch of individuals that I have ever had the pleasure to work alongside. Everyone from the Chefs, the cleaning staff and front of house staff went out of their way to make sure that we were OK and ask if we needed anything. They were friendly and caring and genuinely couldn't do enough to ensure that both ourselves and the wedding guests has the BEST experience whilst staying with them. Erin & Jen were absolutely delightful. They really went above and beyond to help myself and the team. If you are looking for a wedding venue trust me when I say that this is the one for you. Attended here for my sisters wedding. Wedding was spectacular and the service was amazing. The food for the wedding breakfast was truly exceptional, or as my husband said "flawless". Evey guest complimented how beautiful the whole experience was, from start to finish. The staff were very attentive, particular the morning staff who were present in the morning of the wedding and attended to all of our needs. Each member of staff went above and beyond and the manager of Soughton was so personable, accommodating and lovely. I wouldn't hesitate booking here for an overnight stay or another occasion. Thank you for making my sisters wedding so amazing 🙂

Our wedding was just over 3 weeks ago now and we are still feeling on cloud 9! The night before the wedding myself and my bridal party stayed at Top Lodge. The lodge was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and was really the perfect way to start the wedding celebrations. After we had left in the morning to get ready down at the hall, the groom and groomsmen used the lodge as a base for them to get ready in. Would 100% recommend getting the lodge booked as a part of your special day! On to the day itself, I still can’t quite find the words to describe what a perfect day we had. All the staff at Soughton really were absolutely amazing, every single person on the day was so lovely and really made an effort. I have to mention in particular our wedding coordinator Erin and Cheryl the manager who were absolute superstars, they made the day run seamlessly and I just can’t thank them enough. The food was delicious, our guests in particular raved about the halloumi and the pizza in the evening! The grounds are gorgeous and so well maintained, there are so many different areas to get pictures. The long driveway really does have that wow-factor when you arrive. The hall itself is stunning, they’ve done a brilliant job of keeping the classic feel while having modern touches. It’s huge and I could spend ages talking about what I love about every room but I will mention in particular - the ceremony room is so grand, I particularly loved the ceiling! Then the marquee is such a great space for your evening reception. The hall is your home for the day and it really did feel so special that you could wander around and it would just be you and your guests. I could write so much more, as cliche as it sounds our wedding truly was the best day of our lives and we would without a doubt recommend Soughton Hall to anyone considering having their special day here!
