Buena ubicacion, zona de ocio pero habitacion tranquila

El hotel está muy bien comunicado, con buenas vistas,restaurantes y chiringuitos muy cerca. Para alojamiento perfecto.

Bel hôtel. A côté de la plage. Chambre et salle de bain spacieuse. Petit déjeuner copieux. La dame du déjeuner très accueillante. Seul bémol l'irrespect des gens. Ils parlent forts à 3 heures du matin. Et la réception ne fait rien alors Qu un gardien est sur place là nuit. Sinon super séjour.

We hesitated when booking as we normally go for 3 Stars or above, but we are so glad we stayed here. What a super hotel! Yes, the rooms are a bit basic, but they are comfortable, clean and have everything you need (except maybe a fridge - but that's not the end of the world). Our room had a balcony with a side view of the sea and it was such a gorgeous place to sit and take in the views. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast is good quality and there's plenty of choice. We were there in high season and parking in this area of Mojacar is difficult, so the fact they have their own undergound parking (10€/day) is a huge bonus. It's a great car park too, not small and tight spaces like some others. Next time we visit Mojacar, we won't be bothering with the bigger and posher hotels. No, we'll be straight back to Virgen del Mar! Well done everyone at the hotel, you're doing a great job! You have a lovely hotel with that welcoming 'family' feeling.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and good breakfast. Lots of dining options just outside.

Thought it odd that ******* sent me a message a few days before our reservation to say "It's not to late to cancel without losing money" This may have been a subtle warning and maybe ******* should remove this property from the Mojacar listings... We knew the Hotel was basic but the room smelled of stale cigarettes, the tub was permanently stained as was the tile floor grout. The bed was ok and the sheets were clean. The breakfast was the bare minimum. The Hotel is located across from a disco that thumps til 2:00am and the area is party central so when it empties out so do the loud drunks. The air-conditioning is beyond it's best before date. The only positive is the location to the beach and parking, although no direction was given about anything let alone how to get into the parking lot. I'm surprised how this property earns the "******* Recommended" list.
