We had a super short break in the Waterberg Africamps. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The hot tub is a godsend. The tent is comfortable and has all you need. A personal favourite is the electric blanket and the amazing shower. The hikes are super too, we did all of the different coloured hiking trails except for the one trail which had buffalo on it. The shop sells wood for R30, pinecones for R20, some food stuff and merchandise. One uses alot of wood and pinecones for the braai and the wood fired hot tub. All in all, a reprieve from the busyness of family life. We will be back!

The tents and food were excellent, totally loved it. Some of the activities booked on website were not available at the venue. The roadworks at Vaalwater made it difficult to find the route especially when travelling at night.

We wanted to take our adult children away to the Bush. We used to go alot when they were younger, so the glamping was a nice touch. Being able to walk in bush was great, we saw alot of game on our walks, game drive and from our tent. And the hot tub was a real hit!

A fabulous way to spend a few nights with the family and reconnect. Peaceful, amazing sunsets, beautiful views and the astrology show was fascinating and fun. Highly recommend an Africamps holiday.

It was our first time doing the glamping thing, and I must say Africamp made everything pleasant and we enjoyed every moment of it from the activities to the facilities 👌🏾

We had the most amazing stay at Africamps Waterberg. We did an afternoon game drive as well as a horse back safari, which was definitely the highlight of our trip. We also managed to squeeze in a hike and a lovely trail run around the farm. The tents are very well equipped with everything you need, including electric blankets and fire place for those cooler nights. We also made great use of the wood fired tub on the deck. Such a wonderful, relaxing stay.

We have stayed at some Africamps locations before and Waterberg is definitely on the top of our list. The Hosts were Amazing, Welcoming and catered to our every need, communication with the team prior to the trip, during and after was always immediate showing such professionalism and tentative commitment to their guests, the location itself was absolutely breath taking and allows one to completely disconnect from the rush of everyday life, we also got to enjoy an amazing horse back safari with two awesome guides which brought such knowledge and made the experience really special, while the roads are more suitable for 4x4’s you can easily visit in pretty much any vehicle, would definitely recommend Waterberg Cottage’s / Africamps for your next romantic getaway, thank you team we will definitely be back.

Our family had a wonderful stay both in the tents and later in the cottages. The hosts were fantastic, and it was hard to fault. Highly recommended for a long weekend break!

All sixteen of us had a wonderful time at Africamps waterberg. t The tents were superb, comfortable, well-appointed with everything you could possibly need. The surroundings were beautiful, with antelope roaming freely close to our tents. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the whole booking process easy. Will try some other Africamps locations, our whole experience was very positive.
