"We had a short holiday in Sicily and stayed in this hotel in Modica, a strategic position to reach some of the most beautiful places on the east coast. The hotel, very clean, is also very comfortable: from the garage an elevator takes you directly to your room floor. At the reception they were very kind and gave us some useful advice for our stay. The room (standard with balcony) was comfortable, bright, with a large balcony. TV with 10 free Sky channels. Spacious bathroom, with window. Rich courtesy set (there was even toothpaste and toothbrush and a small sewing kit). Excellent and plentiful breakfast, sweet and savory, cappuccino and coffee from the bar. We appreciated the name tags on the front of the products and containers, so you didn't always have to lift the lids to see the contents or ask the staff. The restaurant deserves a special mention. Excellent food, varied menu, impeccable service. All the hotel staff proved to be very kind and competent. We had a great time and definitely recommend the Hotel Torre Del Sud."

"Just a perfect spot to stay in with the family. Both toddler and teenager had a fabulous time playing around the villa. It was so quiet and nothing was too much trouble for our host Gianni. He welcomed us with all the information we required and made us instantly feel at home. Our rooms were adjoining leading out to the lovely terrace. All was clean and practical. Communal fully equipped kitchen was a blessing for the family. Outdoor area is bliss and a wide variety of facilities offered. Place needs a little TLC but everything we needed functioned well. The EV charging stations were such a relief especially after a day driving around Sicily. I'd highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway in the peaceful laid back serenity of Modica."

"My daughter and I stayed at MPH for three nights in early July. While the hotel has some lovely features, our overall experience was unfortunately impacted by several avoidable issues. We were initially given a room with a window rather than a balcony, which was due to an error by the booking agent—not the hotel. We requested a swap, but no balcony rooms were available. That said, the room was clean, modern, and the beds were comfortable. We also really enjoyed the breakfast—fresh and well-prepared. The hotel is located in a fairly remote area, and with the on-site restaurant closed during our stay, we had to drive out every evening to find dinner. We stayed in Room 1, which is right next to reception. Unfortunately, this made for a very disturbed first night due to loud noise and what sounded like shouting during the night. We requested a room change and were moved to a room on the first floor, which was thankfully much quieter. On the second evening, we returned to the hotel around 10pm hoping to have a drink at the bar, but were told it closed at 8pm and only soft drinks were available. That night, however, we did manage to get a good night’s sleep. On our final night, we came back to loud music and a full DJ party by the pool and garden area. This was quite a shock, especially as we needed to wake at 6am for a four-hour drive to the airport and from the car in the UK. I called reception at 11:30pm to ask when the music would end, as the bass was extremely loud and disturbing. I was told it was a birthday party. When I pointed out that it was a Monday and some guests might have work or early travel, the receptionist replied that it "shouldn't affect me since I was on vacation." That response was disappointing and dismissive. Overall, this is a nice hotel with a great pool, good breakfast, and mostly polite, helpful staff. But the lack of consistency and poor communication about noise disruptions seriously affected our stay. Had I known in advance about these issues—particularly the late-night events and limited dining/bar options—I would have chosen a different hotel."

Saada nämä järjestetty ja se olisi 5*++ luulen, että ongelmat olivat luultavasti koska hotelli oli suljettava kausi jälkeen päivässä - toivottavasti!"

"Sisareni ja minä olimme iloisia vierailemasta Modicassa tämän vuoden toukokuussa. Ensimmäinen matka Sisiliaan oli erittäin miellyttävä yllätys. Tämä alkoi meidän majoitusta välillä Modica Alta ja Modica Bassa. Nestled away below the steps of St Giorgio's Cathedral, the Siciliando sijaitsee täydellisessä asemassa saada tietää todellinen puolella Monica. Parasta kaikesta, tervetuloa Rosalina ja Graziana oli fab. He ovat uudistamassa kaunis palatsoni (ei että huomaat mitään häiriötä) ja on ihana tunne rauhoittumista. Huoneemme oli uuden osan kiinteistön niin puhdas ja köyhä. Huone oli puhdistettu joka päivä ja käytetty pyyhkeitä korvattiin päivittäin yhdessä puhtaiden lehtien muutaman päivän jälkeen. Tämä on harvinaista B ja Bs aamiainen sisältyy ja sisältää kaikenlaisia kotitekoisia säilöntäaineita ja tuoreet leipomat kakku! Sijainnin vuoksi, kaukana päätiet, se oli myös hyvin hiljainen. Ainoa puoli on askel. Tämä ei ollut ongelma meille, mutta se voisi olla muiden, joten se on tarkistaa niiden kanssa. He tulevat apuanne, mutta sinun täytyy tiedostaa heille.
