I highly recommend this hotel! This is a nice small hotel with 19 rooms, located in the ‘downtown’ area of Mitzpe Ramon. The prices are very reasonable. We previously stayed at the nearby luxury ‘Beresheet Hotel’, but their rates are probably 5 times more expensive than the Tzukim hotel. There are not a lot of hotel options in Mitzpe Ramon, but this hotel worked out well for us. From the outside, the hotel doesn’t look like much, but it turned out to be a great place to stay. The rooms are not huge but very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The hotel lobby and guest rooms are very clean. The hotel is located entirely on the 2nd floor of a commercial building. We did not hear any noises from the commercial businesses on the ground floor. A supermarket is literally next door (25 feet). There is no elevator from the ground floor to the hotel. However, the staff was very accommodating in helping move guest luggage when you arrive and when you depart at the end of your stay. You’ll have to walk the stairs when coming and going during your stay. Unless you’re in a wheelchair or unable to walk 1 flight of stairs, this should not be a problem. Because it is a small hotel, they do not have any food service, but offer complimentary coffee / tea / cold drinks and small biscuits in the lobby. However, our room rate included ‘breakfast’. They accomplish this by giving you a voucher for the local ‘Aroma’ coffee shop, located ‘across the parking lot’, about a 3-4 minute walk. There was some confusion about what precisely the voucher included, but it was supposed to be a complete breakfast. The food was good, but it might be somewhat ‘less confusing’ to book the room without breakfast and order what you want at the Aroma on your own. The Aroma has an indoor eating area, but it is not very large (maybe 20-24 seats at the most), so you might have to wait for a seat. The staff is very friendly and speaks English very well. I would definitely stay here again!
