Lantern Boutique Hotel by Reveal

We highly recommend this beautiful beach-side small hotel. We used it as a base for our final 3 nights on our tour of Sri Lanka, and took a whale watching trip one morning from Mirissa port (10mins up the road) but otherwise just generally relaxed and explored the Mirissa beaches. I believe all the rooms are sea-facing and on the 1st floor - we had room 4 above reception. A spacious room with excellent big shower and great aircon, a fridge, good WiFi and lovely balcony with sofa looking out over the ocean. This hotel had the warmest pool we experienced of the 6 on our trip, and had varying depth. Excellent sun loungers and double beds under palapas - heaven! The beach was lovely to look at, but steep down to the water and not easy to walk on (sinky sand) so not really suitable for strolling, and the sea was under a red flag warning in this area, so no sea swimming. However less than 10 mins by tuk tuk was the main Mirissa beach and neighbouring Turtle Bay, where you could go in the sea, although still big waves. Also lots of restaurants on the beach there, where you can drink or dine with feet in the sand, with lots of fresh seafood on offer, so we ate out for 2 nights. Food at the hotel was impressive and tasty, with a twist on local dishes, like prawn rotis and tacos - huge portions but pricier than meals we had elsewhere. Our stay was made particularly special by the turtle conservation work being done at the hotel - on each of our 3 evenings at dusk we were lucky enough (it's seasonal) to see them release baby turtles on the beach which had just hatched that day (36, 100 and then 150 respectively!). Each night they keep an eye for new eggs being laid and then take them in until they hatch, to keep them safe from animals and birds. The hotel is currently building a new hatchery at the end of the property. The staff at this hotel were particularly friendly and keen to ensure we were happy. Despite being right on the coast road, meaning it is noisy on the roadside and as you arrive (I was worried initially), once you're in your room you really don't notice the traffic, and when on the beach the waves drown it out, so no issues! Wat een heerlijk hotel. We zaten in de riante suite, veel ruimte, en je loopt zo het (bijna privé) strand op. Want maar kleinschalig met 6 kamers. Super lief en attent personeel, lekkere massage gehad, goed eten en de mooiste (kan wel ruig zijn) zee. Lekkere bedjes waar altijd plek is. Helemaal tot rust gekomen daar. En een tuktuk-away van de drukte, restaurants etc. Is dus niet in het centrum, maar ligt er rustig buiten. Wat ik een voordeel vond.

Un grupo de amigos de Barcelona, paseando por la zona buscando sitio para cenar encontramos el "Hotel Lanter Boutique", ubicado en la playa, desde fuera no parece gran cosa. Una vez dentro te vas dando cuenta de lo que hay. Nos encantó nuestra cena, comida internacional deliciosa y muy bien presentada. Al terminar la cena se presentó el joven Nira ofreciendo los servicios que el spa " Le Lily" tiene en el hotel. Excepcional masaje de un buen profesional dado por Nira, dicho masaje dejo al grupo nuevo para de nuevo regresar a Barcelona. Gracias Nira por tu profesionalidad! Si regreso a ése paraíso, no dudaré en solicitar tus servicios de masaje

We (as a couple) had the pleasure of spending five wonderful nights at the Lantern Boutique Hotel by Reveal in Mirissa, and we can wholeheartedly say that it is a true gem! Nestled on a stunning, less-frequented beach, this hotel is an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility. Its excellent connectivity to Mirissa allows for easy exploration of the charming town and its beautiful surrounding beaches. The rooms are absolutely exquisite — beautifully furnished, impeccably clean, and each offers breathtaking views of the sea. The hotel’s commitment to cleanliness is commendable, and the twice-daily room service adds an extra touch of luxury to our stay. Dining at the hotel is a highlight in itself. Every dish is freshly prepared and bursting with flavor, making each meal a delightful experience. The breakfast is particularly impressive, with a wide array of delicious options that cater to all tastes. Additionally, the spa services provide a wonderful opportunity to unwind, featuring high-quality treatments that enhance the overall experience. While the prices for accommodations and dining may be slightly higher than those in larger hotels, the exceptional quality and service make every cent worthwhile. We highly recommend the Lantern Boutique Hotel for an unforgettable getaway!

What an incredible find! From the moment we arrived at the property we were made to feel at home in what can only be described as a little piece of paradise. Location couldn’t have been better, our room was simply one of the best we have ever stayed in, the views are exception, the food gorgeous & the staff incredibly friendly & attentive. We were even graced by 3 turtles laying their eggs on the beach in front of the hotel - what a privilege! Thank you for making our trip so memorable & we look forward to returning in the near future.

Отдыхали с друзьями на вилле по соседству.. случайно по пляжу дошли до butik hotel lantern 71 - решили поужинать. Ужин был потрясающий! Обслуживание фантастическое! После этого все обеды и ужины мы проводили здесь) однозначно заслуживает 10 баллов🙌🏻🤩
