The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort

We are a family of 4, with 2 kids aged 11 and 10. We stayed in the overwater villa for 5 nights 6 days. The Westin is located about 35mins by seaplane from Male. Its a small resort with 70 accomodations (28 water villas and 42 beach villas). It has 3 restaurants and the usual facilities of a 5 star resort. What seperates this resort from the rest in my opinion is the service and attention to detail by the staff. Special shout out to Santria (F&B manager) and Laurent (GM) of the resort. Our feedback and comments were indeed taken seriously and acted upon, and we had a good experience thanks to them. The house reef is decent, and snorkling on a clear day you will see turtles, reef sharks and all the varieties of reef fishes. We took the sunset fishing trip and it is highly recommended, and we had our catch served for dinner the next day - it was so good. All in all it was a very pleasant experience at the resort, and once again I emphasize that it is the people there that made this smaller resort stand out from the rest.

a very spacious 140 square meters beach front villa with private pool at a decent rack rate, the service is simply the best! average food quality is 8 out of 10 points, but the price is quite expensive, particularly alcoholic!

住了2晚145号水上泳池屋，地方好大可看到日出及日落，房內地板有約6呎X6呎玻璃窗可看魚，可惜風浪太大不能在露台外面海浮潛。員工服務質素高，酒店在我生日當天在餐廳豉樂表演完後突然所有員工一齊唱生日歌及送上有我名的生日疍糕，使我非常開心及感動。

Ein Paradies Wir hatten sehr entspannte 8 Tage in dieser total schönen Unterkunft, wurden sehr aufmerksam umsorgt, die gesamte Crew überaus freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker, besonders im jap. Fischrestaurant. Auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert!

私は日本のGWに、日々のストレスから解放されるためにウェスティンモルディブに訪れました。唯一の目的はリラックスして海を眺めることでしたが、このリゾートはそのために完璧な場所でした。 水上ヴィラの大きな窓からの景色は息を呑むようで、ターコイズブルーのモルディブの海が目の前に広がっていました。出会ったスタッフ全員が親切でプロフェッショナルで、細やかな配慮をしてくれました。 特に印象に残ったスタッフが数名います： •Zainyさん、LINEを交換してくれて、休暇中にもかかわらず迅速に対応してくれました。 •アイランドダイニングのMinさん、素晴らしい辛ラーメンと美味しいスペアリブを提供してくれました。 •ハウスキーパーのSaudさん、お部屋を常に清潔に保ち、到着時と出発時に素敵なベッドデコレーションで驚かせてくれました。 •そして特にShakeelさん、小さなトラブルに丁寧に対応してくださり、その出来事が良い思い出に変わりました。出発時にはシープレインの見送りまでしてくれ、最初から最後まで本当に心温まるおもてなしを感じました。 施設は最高でしたが、この旅行が本当に忘れられないものになったのは、スタッフ一人一人の温かさと誠実さがあったからです。ウェスティンモルディブのスタッフの皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。必ずまた訪れたいと思います。 最後に、ビュッフェはおすすめです。種類も豊富で、とても楽しめました。 一方で、日本食レストランについては、高品質な日本食を普段から食べ慣れている私たちには少しがっかりでした。1人約3万円支払いましたが、内容的には居酒屋料理を食べているような感じでした。 この価格を考えると、もっと本格的で洗練された日本料理を提供してほしいと感じました。

Stayed at sunrise overwater villa for my birthday for 5 nights with my vegan husband. We did not choose all inclusive options but worked out just perfect for our cost per value. Resort was very quiet, clean, and beautifully maintained. And no bugs…I virtually saw no mosquito or flies…which is great. Overwater villa was very spacious with minimal decor, equipped with wellness amenities such as lavender oil. The villa had some wears and tears ofc, but it was beautifully maintained and kept clean. We booked heavenly spa for deep tissue massage, and after-sun body treatment. In both visit, we were warmly welcomed with tea and smile. We had tranquil massage/body care in couple’s room with great view. The fruit and tea after the treatment was also very nice. The resort was exceptional, not only because of amazing ambiance but also because of all the staff member’s flexible & attentive assistance to best accommodate the one’s needs. Since restaurant menu was not available online, I had slight concern for my husband’s vegan food option. However, after consulting with chef in person, a very thoughtful vegan course menu was created for destination dining. My husband had multiple vegan entree options at every restaurant. Chef’s tremendous effort to accommodate everyone with certain dietary restriction/choice extends above and beyond. All the vegan and non-vegan food we had was absolutely delicious. Food is simple but deliver the flavor you would expect out of menu description with great seasoning. We really appreciate all the staff member on the island to make this vacation so fulfilling, relaxing, and luxurious. And we would highly recommend this property for couple& family with vegan choice.
