Awesome stay, clean and spacious room. Excellent wifi connection. Located in the city centre and a lot of eateries surrounding and within walking distance.

The environment was great, comfortable bed and cleanliness of the overall hotel is top rated. Like the filter drinking water tap so much, easy for travelers. Outside noise filtering is great but room to room sound filtering can improve a little.

Location is good but the parking was terrible using a car lift. What more there are no ground parking around the perimeter of the property as it is built on a tight piece of land We were charged RM10 for each car entry to the car lift parking which is ridiculous after subjecting guests to this limited parking facility. As it was raining most of the time during our stay, I got wet when I had to extract a parking ticket from the machine. They could have built an overhead canopy for this. It was misleading as a Mercure managed hotel. We expected better from the Mercure brand. The rooms were tastefully furnished but again small, there were no chairs or seats, If you had to do some writing there were no desk space. Moving around the room was tight, and me and my partner had to avoid each other in the confine of the available tight cracks between the beds and the TV wall. As it was Miri marathon week, prices were jacked up by close to 50% of normal rates. We paid & regretted. Please use our experience for your benefit.

Stayed at Mercure Miri City Centre for a business trip and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is modern, centrally located, and close to malls, cafes, and local eateries. The room was stylish, clean, and comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and a good workspace. Staff were friendly and professional, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. The rooftop bar and pool offered a great spot to unwind after work. Overall, an excellent choice for both business and leisure—would definitely stay again.
