The rooms are huge and the people are nice. The location is great and the grounds are also great. The hallways could use a little updating. I liked the piers that you can walk out over the water from.

Bad service and the bathtub drain was clogged. Insisted that we couldn’t check in until 4:00 pm and then watched them allow several other guests to check in early.

We love the Pointe. We’ve been going for about 10 years. We usually go twice a year. The staff are so friendly. The location is awesome and the Condos are clean and the views are amazing!

We rented a 2 Bedroom Deluxe Suite for 3 nights in late Autumn. It was spotless, well laid out, included a full refrigerator & electric oven/range, as well as two bathrooms and two lovely bedrooms. The space (which included access to a fire pit which we used), was spacious enough to host our friends (three other couples), who stayed elsewhere. We were close to everything in Minocqua especially the Bear Skin Trail. Also, the staff here was incredibly nice & helpful.

We love The Pointe! Wisconsin in the winter is just beautiful. The staff is so accommodating. Sitting in the hot tub and watching it snow outside is priceless. This property really accommodates the snowmobile community from providing a special parking area and a ramp for easy on and off the lake. The area restaurants and supper clubs are wonderful! This is a great “Up North” getaway any season of the year.

Girl at front desk was very rude when we arrived and merely asked when we could check in, not expecting to get in so early. Snippy said “ they won’t be ready until 4”. Having stayed there many times, I would expect to atleast get a hello or how can I help you. Disappointed

Had a reservation booked months in advance. When we showed up they could not find my reservation. I pulled up my confirmation on my phone. The lady at the desk reported that since I didn't show up the day before, they had rebooked my room and didn't have a room for us. I showed her my reservation was for todays date, not the day before. "I'm sorry is the best I can do" was what I was told. This was booked through the hotel website at full price. I have never had an experience like this traveling before. Be cautious if you plan to stay there.

We would definitely stay here again. The room was spacious and clean. We loved the patio area outside our room was great. The pool, hot tub and sauna were wonderful.

Breakfast could be better
The people were great. It could use some updating especially for the high cost of a stay. The breakfast options were minimal especially for guests with dietary restrictions. The only options were packaged muffins and waffles. It would be nice to have an ice machine on the property as well. I liked the balcony and the beds were very comfy.
