Un lugar hermoso y cómodo que combina una arquitectura moderna con la maravillosa flora y fauna de Mindo. El desayuno estupendo. La atención muy agradable. De seguro volveremos en el menor tiempo posible.

Estuve alojado en este llamativo hotel por 2 noches. Es un hotel tranquilo y acogedor. Como era temporada baja no servían almuerzo ni cena, a no ser que uno les avise con anterioridad así que no pudimos saborear la sazón de su comida. El desayuno servido con jugo yogourth, pan, mermelada etc. sabroso. Está cerca del pueblo a 3 cuadras. Tiene parquéo, una piscina pequeña, que sirve para refrescarse. El ambiente esta rodeado de plantas muy llamativo. Lo que me llamo la atención es que después de la primera noche de estadía, nos levantamos , desayunamos y salimos a los tours. Al regreso en la tarde, no estaba hecha la limpieza del cuarto, preguntamos en recepción y nos supieron decir , que ha muchos turistas nos les gusta que arreglen el cuarto . BUENO......

Lovely environment with trees, birds, wooden buildings, creative decorations and a pool. Lovely hosts who can advise you about the area and things to do. Area with games and books, which is great. Breakfast is nice but a bit small and too French - coffee served in a bowl with pancakes and waffles. Would be nice to propose some Ecuadorian pastries. Would also be nice to have tea and coffee available. Water dispenser available. Missing shower gel and shampoo.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Bicok en famille, l'endroit est juste fantastique, tellement bien aménagé par les soins de Sylvie et Sébastien. C'est resourçant, reposant, dépaysant... Et tout ça en respect et totale harmonie avec la nature.

I had a very pleasing stay here. The room was spotless and comfortable. It had a rainfall shower with plenty of hot water. The breakfast!!! It was over-the-top amazing. There was so much food I couldn’t finish, and every bite was delicious. I had hot chocolate (the real kind) and fresh juice every day. Scrambled eggs, a bowl of fruit, crepe, waffle, and scratch made English muffin! Plus granola and milk. Served with 2 kinds of jam and butter. The host was pleasant and helpful. The grounds were beautiful, with a swimming pool that had a waterfall. It’s a quick walk into the town center. I felt completely safe, even walking at night. I will be staying here again on future visits.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, initially thinking it might be too long a stay but I was looking for some relief from the altitude of Quito. There is plenty to do in Mindo! I took the public bus from Quito which takes around 2 hours. Make sure you've checked on the map of Mindo for where to get off; bus will stop anywhere for you. If you're walking to the hotel then get off at the square. Although I struggled to find it initially - a bridge was being re-built which didn't help my cause - local people were more than happy to point me in the right direction, most of which is down unpaved and potholed roads (take a torch). Having said that, it's only around a 10 minute walk so don't be put off. Hotel is stunning and my room clean and comfortable with a fantastic shower. Beautiful pool which I mainly had to myself (not heated but, as my mother always said, you'll be alright once you've got your shoulders under! I did find it difficult to dry clothing off; it's The Cloud Forest. It will rain, possibly torrentially. Top Tip - have some plastic bags you can line your trainers with to keep your feet dry! Breakfast was enormous and I was a bit embarrassed at leaving a lot on the first day so I just asked staff for the bits I wanted for my other days. Manager spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Loved the humming birds on the feeders and seeing different flora and fauna. There are several travel agents on the main street for booking your adventures with, although some you can just get to via a taxi. I enjoyed the horse riding, cable care to the waterfalls and the butterfly park but there really is lots to do. Felt completely refreshed following my stay and recommend it to anyone looking for tranquillity and comfort.
