"First time in Gunma. Originally planned to go to Ikaho after Kusatsu Onsen, I saw a tweet by chance and changed to Relais & Chateaux member hotel, Minakami Onsen – Senjuan. I have stayed in so many hot spring hotels, and Senjuan can be said to have the best service. When I arrived at the hotel, tea and snacks were served separately according to the convention. At this time, the waiter took out four pens and five ballpoint pens for you to choose, which was a full sense of ceremony. Going to the room, Ohbasan tried his best to introduce various facilities in English along the way. Each room has a private open-air hot spring, mini-bar soft drinks are free, and equipped with various teas and capsule coffee. There is a reading room and a rest area in the hotel garden, with free drinks and desserts. I went to the reading room for a walk and was ready to leave. The waiter was afraid that I didn’t know that I could order and chased me to the door to ask if I needed a drink. For dinner, everyone had a room, and I was arranged in a glass room like a tree house. After dinner, I returned to the room. The bed was already made, and different embroidery patterns were provided according to the season. It is worth mentioning that the tea and teapot prepared at night are different from those during the day. They even prepared fruits and midnight snacks. The cakes were placed in the steamer, and the time was set. You just had to press start. There were free drink time periods in the morning and evening, with juice, milk, tea and various alcoholic beverages. If you are interested, you can also use a telescope to observe the starry sky or the nearby Southern Alps. The season was a bit awkward this time, and there was only some snow left in the courtyard. "My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 30th year of employment. The first thing that impressed us was the dinner we had upon arrival. The sashimi platter, braised Shimonita pork, a small hotpot of conger eel, grilled sweetfish, and stone-grilled Joshu beef sirloin were all delicious. My wife, who is usually quiet, commented, "I feel like I'm enjoying the most delicious beef I've ever had in my life." The room was also cozy and spacious, like a living room. The view from the window and the sound of the babbling river were soothing.
