Buttermilk Falls Inn

Lovely Historic B and B My daughter and I stayed here for two nights. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Loved the tea time as well. Lovely area and lovely property. They are remodeling their Spa and Restaurant (which is due to move back on-property before Christmas). The inn is historic, so not totally quiet (can hear train faintly from across the river and in-room mini-fridge made noises during the night.

Unless you wish to go for your lungs don't book a wedding here, there was a property fee which is normal. you also have to buy out the houses for the stay, which is fine the guests pay for the stay as you book the rooms. Nightly stay is expensive so you expect service at the houses.. well there wasn't any, no clean towels no garbage taken out no bed service. You can hang the service sign on your door all you want there was no one to be found. They didn't even take care of the bridal suite, not even a complimentary bottle of champagne. but what do you expect for over a 150,000.00 wedding. original estimate was 60,000.00 less. The day of the wedding Morgan who we spoke to all year was no where to be found, if I didn't hire a planner the wedding would have been a disaster. no one catered to the bride and groom they where on there own. No one made them feel welcome or special. Being this was my 3rd daughter getting married, This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I ever encountered. They should not call themselves a wedding venue they are a rental property and you are on your own! Although that's not the vibe you get when booking. Morgan who has a title of wedding coordinator she dropped the ball for the wedding, she coordinated nothing that week end , she would not even answer her phone, but I should have known better being she was very difficult to deal with during our planning. everything was no we don't do that

We liked everthing, the only problem was the air conditioner was loud, we did not like the pillows. The place was beautiful and the service was great, we would come back.
