"Spacious but basic room, bed not the most comfortable. Noisy in the morning due to other guests leaving their rooms without worrying about who's still sleeping (given the time...) Cleanliness rating (3) for the bathroom: it could use a makeover, especially the shower and sink (the drain was practically clogged)... perhaps because it's the end of the season. The beautiful balcony with pergola and excellent location close to the center but away from the chaos. The high rating is mainly due to the very friendly and helpful staff, especially Antonia, who helped me book excursions and rental cars!"

"Salt Suites is a true hidden gem in Milos! We stayed in the Gerontas Room and it was an absolute dream—spacious, beautifully designed, with a large balcony overlooking the ocean and the most incredible jacuzzi right by the view. Watching the sunset from there was pure magic. The location is perfect—it’s on the calm, no-wind side of Pollonia, so you can relax and enjoy the scenery in complete comfort. It’s also private and quiet, yet just a short walk into town for restaurants and shops. Everything about our stay felt peaceful, luxurious, and unforgettable. If you’re coming to Milos, do yourself a favor and book here—you won’t regret it!"

The Price Paradox Milos charges accommodation rates that exceed even Santorini despite being a small, lesser-known island with limited infrastructure and fewer attractions. This pricing inconsistency reveals an opportunistic approach that exploits the lack of accommodation alternatives on the island. Fair Weather Friends When everything goes smoothly, the hotel staff appears welcoming and accommodating. But the moment passengers face travel difficulties which is exactly when you need support most they completely change their attitude. Ferry cancellations are frequent and make the island inaccessible, yet no flexibility is offered whatsoever. Cold Shoulders When You Need Help Once problems arise, these supposedly hospitable hosts become cold, unresponsive, and indifferent to travelers' situations. They either stop responding entirely or reply with icy, dismissive messages that show zero consideration for the passenger's predicament. "The hotel is perfectly appointed with calming hues, amazing views, and every amenity one could imagine. However, for the price point, room air conditioning should work as expected in the room. The front desk team as well as the concierge are really nice but they can only do so much. The location is exudes calm, peacefulness and tranquility, their chef is a magician and whips up magic for every course, every meal type and the rooms are spacious but if the AC doesn’t work as expected and you don’t offer to move the customer to a room where it does, it’s hard to enjoy the stay. I’m definitely coming back to Sifnos, but unfortunately, I won’t be staying at NOS Hotel and Villa. It’s the little things. I would have easily and quickly given up the nightly turn down service, the well stocked mini fridge, the welcome bottle of wine, the multitude of power outlets, the Watson (connect your iPhone/laptop?) tool, comfy slippers and robe for a working AC."

"What a beautiful 4 night stay here. The business is family owned and run and they were amazing, helpful with island information and very accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. The location was perfect. It is a nice quiet part of the island and is an easy 10 min flat walk to restaurants, bakeries and the local mini mart. They have their own car hire @ reasonable rates with available parking across the road if you prefer as we did. It made it so much easier getting around the island."

"Everything about our stay here was perfect! The host, Aris was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Not to mention, the most cheerful person to interact with! From the moment we arrived, he did everything he could to ensure we had the best stay. We rented a boat for a day and he even took the time to sit with us that morning to go over what beaches to hit and when so that we made the most out of our experience that day. And let me tell you, he gave us the best advice and we had the most amazing time! We were in the pool house which over looked plaka and the sport stadium for the island. It was very enjoyable to see locals of all ages out on the field playing a variety of different sports during our stay. The space itself included everything you could need. We needed a few additional things during our stay (cooler, beach umbrella, napkins, plastic cups) so we messaged Aris and he responded promptly, providing everything we requested. We especially loved that upon our return from a long day exploring and relaxing on the beach, the entire space was cleaned up, dishes and all, and it always smelled so nice and clean. We can’t wait to return to Milos and visit our new friend Aris and his sweet kitty!"

"Simple hotel close to the heart of Pollonia (~10 minute walk). Recommend renting a car at the airport or Avance in Pollonia and exploring. There’s no pool at the property but Milos is full of beaches (one in Pollonia) so you don’t need one. Had a great view of the sunset from our room or you can watch the sunset just outside the reception area in lounge swings provided by the hotel. For breakfast, you let the front desk know your order and time the day before and they serve it to you in your room and you can eat it on your balcony. They have a parking area or street parking."

"We spent 8 nights here during our wonderful part of the holiday in Kimolos, you can reach it on foot from the Chora (uphill dirt road, a bit tiring if you have heavy luggage); compared to the "centre" of the town it is another 5 minutes on foot; obviously a scooter is recommended to get around the island. Our apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable, recently refreshed. Upon arrival we found a cat under the bed, but in Greece it can happen. The cleaning, very thorough and daily, satisfied us, even the bathroom: spacious and equipped with all the necessary kit. Next to the structure there is Twins, a small place useful for breakfast, also for takeaway. As I recommend 2 things to the managers: 1) upon arrival a car would be appreciated for the transfer to the accommodation (the reception is located near the port), we traveled around a lot and had quite heavy luggage, as well as a little tiredness , having to bring them ourselves was not a great welcome, and the only taxi available...was not available 2) the welcome and explanations about the island and the structure upon our arrival were very precise and welcome, perhaps a a little too long; when you arrive in a place the first desire is to sit in the room, this must be taken into account. For the rest everything is very good, we recommend it."
